The 2019 BMW 7 Series is a full-size luxury sedan that seats up to five. The lineup consists of the six-cylinder 740i and the V-8-powered 750i. An M performance version is also available, as is an Alpina B7 performance model. A plug-in hybrid 740e is also available; it features all-wheel drive and pairs a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric motor.

The 740i and 750i are available with rear- or all-wheel drive. The M760i has all-wheel drive, as does the B7. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and Lexus LS. An updated 7 Series debuts as a 2020 model.

What’s New on the 2019 BMW 7 Series?

Standard active safety features include blind spot warning, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, city collision mitigation and rear cross-traffic alert. A one-year trial of Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity is also standard.

What Features in the 2019 BMW 7 Series Are Most Important?

Standard luxury features include an air suspension, a power trunk lid, soft-closing doors, a panoramic moonroof, a power rear sunshade, four-zone automatic air conditioning and a digital instrument cluster. Should I Buy the 2019 BMW 7 Series?

The 7 Series is nimble, quick and comfortable, with a supremely luxurious interior. The car’s ability to recognize certain gestures is a bit gimmicky, but with so many versions from which to choose, you should be able to find a 7 Series that’s right for you.

Super ride

This is an excellent car! The best I’ve ever owned! I went from a 2015 740Li to a 2019 750i! I couldn’t be happier! It’s comfortable, executive luxury, she’s nimble and powerful at the same time!
