Great Car, no Competition with AWD
I have had this Audi A4 3.2 for over 3 years. It has given my nothing but pleasure. Only two problems which were a break light that went out and a rattle in the a pillar. Both were fixed under warrantee. The 3.2 gets me an average of about 23 in average driving and it has a great sound to it. It does not have the oil problems of the 2.0. I have never had to add any between changes. You should avoid that engine at all cost. The top works flawlessly and is very quiet too, with the insulation that is provided. All my features work great with out any bugs and I have navigation, blue tooth, and serious satellite radio. The paint is perfect the roof shows no wear and tare. If you want a car that is great in the rain and snow and a convertible this is really the only on out there. It is sad that you cannot get this engine in the new A5 convertible.

oil consumption
Purchased '07 A4 2.OT in Aug.'09.with 25K miles. It consumes 1 qt. of oil every 1000 miles. No leaks found. After oil consumption test performed by Audi service, Audi says" this falls within the oil use parameters for this engine." My previous A6 turbo never had this oil usage. What are the long term issues for this excessive oil consumption?

Underwhelming
Good car. Not a lot of value in the #'s. Very expensive to maintain, beware. Seats somewhat uncomfortable, performance good but not "great". 32mpg mixed in the 3.2.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
I am so pleasantly surprised with how much I love my Audi A4. I got the CVT version which is fwd (no quattro) and it gives me an unbelievable 35 mpg hwy (28 city). The car handles like a dream...it has a turn ratio that I have never experienced in another car. Despite the A4 being 2.0 liter V4 turbo -- it has pick-up that rivals my 2005 Acura TL. The car has been totally reliable and the fit-and-finish is tops for cars in the 30-40k price range.

Best of the Germans, as well as the best value
I have a 2007 A4 S-line in metallic silver with black leather. Believe me, it gets attention, and I live in a town where 3 Series and C Classes are common. The 2.0 turbo makes 200 bhp feel like 300, and the turbo lag is barely noticable. Drop it into S mode, and you'll literally burn rubber. I've had the car one year now, and have put just over 11K miles on it. The only time I had to take it to the shop (aside from the routine 5K and 10K maintenance) was when a seatbelt shroud was loose and rattling on bumps. Otherwise, it's been reliable as a Honda. As for gas mileage, I can routinely drive from Sonoma County to Los Angeles, and still have 100 miles left in the tank. Don't get me wrong, BMW builds a fine car. But Audi builds a better one, with more exclusivity, and for thousands less.

CVT not so good..
2007 Audi 2.0T CVT.. I have had this Audi for 12,800 miles it has been in service 3 times this coming weekend. I love to drive this car, but all the problems it's becoming nothing more then a drag for me. I wish I have had done my homework before buying the Audi with the CVT. The CVT is great on the highways and only on the highway. Trying to take off from a dead stop you can just forget about it. The Brakes are going out already. I drive about 90-100 miles pre-day so you would think that brakes wouldn't have any problems yet. The Climate Control when pushing "AUTO" doesn't even work nothing comes out. Would I buy this car again no, but I like Audi so maybe an A5 or an A6 will be in my driveway soon.

Fast. Fun. Quality Ride & Materials.
I have the 2.0T with premium package. I've had it for about 2 months, driven over 3,000 miles. 70% highway at 70-80mph with the occasional purple patch of S mode or tiptronic manual. MPG = a shade under 30. Pretty good for a car that is this much fun to drive. Watch out for the turbo lag. Don't try to pull out in traffic from a standing start. Quality throughout is very good. Basic sound system is good. A little tight on the driver's right leg. Center console obstructs hand brake and rear cup holder. Cup holders are great - gripping skinny water bottles so they don't fall out when you're throwing the car around bends. Good size trunk. Steering wheel has a nice feel. Sensitive steering. Nice tight turning circle. Hard to keep to the speed limits. Always a temptation to let it out. Easy to top 100mph out on the highway. Nightime cabin lighting is nice. All around great buy. I got mine out of the door for just over $28K.
