I miss that zippy little car!
I loved my Acura RSX! It was sporty, reliable and great on gas. I felt like the interior was presentable to passengers and the sound system was great. The pick up and reliability in the snow was outstanding too.

Very nice, just looks too much like a civic
The RSX is on the top 10 tuners list for a reason. These cars have so much potential, and it's rare that a car that can be so fast is this reliable. They run smooth are front wheel drive and look very sporty. Come with K-series engines and some even come with Vtech. Although the car just looks like a step ahead of a Honda civic I really did enjoy my RSX.

Very fun car for the price.
This is a great first car. Easy clutch to learn on, a good amount of power to have fun but not so much that it's dangerous. The rear seats fold down so there's plenty of storage room. I used the car to move into my college apartment. The reliability was great. Not many unexpected repairs. The repairs that were required are to be expected from any car this old. The seats aren't very comfortable for longer trips but the gas mileage on the trips definitely makes up for that.

Awesome First Car
I bought a used 2003 RSX when I was 16 with the money I had been saving since I was 7. Although it had 163000 miles on it, it's been a great car for the past 5 years of my life. A few small things went wrong, like my starter going out and needing new tires, but it's been a great car, a lot of fun to drive, and has aged really well.

I loved it
I bought my RSX for my 60 Mile commute to work. I was expecting a good car with low maintenance because it's built by Honda and my expectations were correct. I owned my RSX for 5 years putting 160,000 miles on it and never once did it leave me stranded or wishing I hadn't bought it. I averaged over 30mpg all the time and occasionally would get 35 or more mpg on a tank. I had to replace the core support because I live in the rust belt but other than that just $15 oil changes at the dealership and new tires and spark plugs was the only thing I touched on the car. It won't bore you away with acceleration or break your neck with cornering G's but it will hold its own by getting you out of a bad situation if you need to do some defensive driving. Ask in all I would recommend this as a 16 yr olds first car. Enough acceleration to make the kid happy but with the front and side airbags and Honda quality it will ease the parents minds as well. I loved my RSX, and if you buy one that was cared for, you will too.

Base RSX is not sporty and uncomfortable
The Base RSX does not have a center console armrest. Does not have traction control. Does not "feel" like it actually has 160HP Because the torque rating is way way under that. It actually feels Heavy, and slow. Seats are harder than the seats in my Monte Carlo, not good for drives longer than 90 minutes. There is some kind of transmission whine that started around 55K - Dealer serviced the transmission at 60K which did not help the volume of the annoying sound which never goes away now. Rust is showing up quite strongly in the rear wheel wells at 90K. Radio is super weak, very below average for stock system. I hear the steering clunking past around 95K, not making me feel comfortable driving this thing anymore. I get the hood latch adjusted every 20K, which is annoying and time consuming. Its a very bad design I wish I didn't love the way this car looks...

Very Sporty RSX
I had my 2003 RSX for a little over a year and I really enjoyed owning the car. Pros: very fun to drive. Took curves really well and had great acceleration for a 4 cyl automatic. I liked how the car looked and even when I purchased it in 2012, it still looked like a new design. The interior looks cool and the seats are very contoured. Cons: not very comfortable on long trips. It's a sports car so it was quite a bumpy ride. Interior panels and parts would rattle frequently. I ended up trading my car in because I learned that my transmission was on it's way out. I know that Honda/Acura had transmission issues during this time period so I wasn't surprised. I was sad to see it go as it was one of the most fun cars I've had. Unfortunately, the new car I purchased, a 2014 Focus, has turned out to be a disappointment.

Great car!
I have had the -2003 RSX-S for many years, nothing other than regular maintenance (and of course tires and brakes and a new battery) has been needed. My previous car, an Acura Integra was the same, and when it came time to replace, I was lucky to find this one, used but metIculously maintained. Every time I get an oil change or go to the dealer, the fellows there give me their cards and tell me to contact them should I ever want to sell it. The back seat is for smaller folks ONLY- yes- is the only real drawback, but since this is a commute car for me (and jaunts with just one other person), not an issue for me. Its a great car, has lots of nice features like a sunroof and cruise control for longer drives. Check the Specs- it is fully ?loaded?. The only real drawback may be that it is high on the great to steal list- which just occurred to me. Acck., Gratefully, it as found intact.. I do appreciate it all the more now! I have been told by those in the know- that 500K may be a mileage to shoot for! wowza!

Great Value
Mechanically speaking, this car is amazing. I have owned it for over 4 years now and the only thing I have had to do is replace the break pads. I bought this car with 40k miles on it, and four years later im at 85k miles. Engine feels like it has another 85k miles in it, easily. Handles great in dry weather, gets awesome gas mileage, and it doesnt look like it is an 11 year old car. But, I have to say, this car is terrible in the snow. I live in chicago, and was unable to use the car for almost 2 weeks this winter simply because I had absolutely no tractions. And I do not have cheap tyres either (almost 400 bucks for a set of 4), I cant state the name of the brand, but regardless. That being said, there is nothing else wrong with the car. I am actually selling it to a friend of mine, and upgrading to a 2011 Wrangler Rubicon.

Three's the charm!
As of yesterday I have now purchased THREE cars from this very customer-focused dealership. In my 40-plus years of driving and buying cars, I have never found a dealership so willing to do whatever it takes to put you behind the wheel of a quality used car. Christine and her staff are honest and dedicated to making the transactions trouble-free, just like the vehicles they sell. I recommend them wholeheartedly and would expect them to be my first and last place to shop in the future!
