Amazing overall and ahead of its time

This car met every need of mine except for the obvious bad gas mileage at about 19 mpg on average. I added third party auto start and Bluetooth for music and calling and it literally is amazing

Very nice car and great to and from work car.

It?s the nicest car I have ever owned. It?s an older model but Acura truest lives up to its reputation. I would for sure by a newer version of this car when I am financially able to.

Happy Acura Owner

Bought a 2002 RL outright, in near perfect condition, with 58,000 miles on it in 2010 for less than nineteen grand. Thereafter I put a little over 140,000 more miles on it before trading it in. In that time the only money spent on the car was on gas, oil changes, one set of tires, one all around brake job, and a new A.C. compressor. At the time Acura built this model to compete with Mercedes Benz of that year, so it was comparable in speed, braking, handling, mileage, quiet ride and luxury to that year Benz. On average these Acura RL's in that year go 250,000 miles before everything starts wearing out, however be warned that at 200,000 a timing belt replacement is required. And it is costly since Acura built it in such a way that the engine has to be removed to perform this maintenance.

Has almost 300,000 and it?s wonderful

This car has been one of the most reliable and beautiful vehicles, it drives fast and reliable. My model has heated seats, tan alcantara leather upholstery, wood trim, sunroof, and excellent handling.

The Best!

Bought this used with 45,000 miles on it from a dealer. I have 187K miles on it now. Other than gas, tires, some oil, and brakes it's been a wonderful automobile. Totally reliable and drives really well in all weather (snow and ice included). I like the built-in GPS and have come to rely on that. Because it has a large 6 cylinder engine it gets terrible gas mileage (18 mpg for the type of driving I do). But of course there's an element of "you get what you pay for". It's quite luxurious and big on the inside...

GOOD SOLID CAR

I owned the car for nine years. The vehicle never needed anything but brakes. I never had any problem with the car. Nice and heavy ride. Bad gas mileage however.

Good Helpful Car

This car has been very helpful to me. It has carried all my stuff. The only thing i am concerned about is the owner cost. For a new RL it would cost more than $40 grand for it.
