Never owed one of these cars

This vehicle was ok, smaller than I expected. Was looking for a little bit larger car. This specific car was better suited for a first-time buyer.

Another great Acura

I own a different model Acura. The ILX is just as reliable. It handles great on streets and highways and is excellent on gas.

Great Car!

I've owned this vehicle for a about 18 months and it's been great! It's a sportier sedan and has all the tech features I love! It's a little small but it's perfect for my daily commute to work. I got a decent deal on it but it was still expensive and I immediately lost value on the car pulling out of the dealership but almost every newer vehicle is the same thing.

Beautiful car great ride!

There was some damage to the car prior to purchase and dealer didn't negotiate much. I found one more vehicle comparable to this one listed on cars.com however it was over 250 mi away.

2013 Acura ILX 2.0 Technology Package

Nice styling inside and out, really like the audio and navigation system, comfortable ride and good performance. A fair value for the price of the car.

2nd car owned

This 2013 Acura ILX was bought used with 51,000 miles on it in Jan/17. It hasn't given me any problems since the purchase and is perfect for any type of trip long or short! Sound system is amazing. Ride can be bumpy depending on personal standards, however I have no issues.

Excellent value. Easy to keep maintained

The ILX is a very good car if it is the gasoline version (not hybrid). Mine has the Tech Pkg., so it has keyless access. And with the manual transmission it's fun to drive and easy to maneuver. The electric power steering is nice too. No pump or rack or fluid to leak. Finally, the omition of the timing belt means no t-belt replacement needed. Heated leather and sunroof are simply the 'cherry on top'.

2014 ILX Tech

I've had my black on black 2014 ILX Tech for a few months now and I just don't get it. The reviews are generally bad to middling for this car and I've found it to be an absolute delight. My last two cars were a 2000 3.2 TL and a 2004 TL which is in perfect condition except for the paint so I gave the TL to my 16 year old daughter and at 56 years old, I was ready to downsize. I will only buy an Acura or a Honda (2012 CRV for my wife) so my choice was this model or a TSX which is not much of a downsize, the styling is plain, and I believe that it will be phased out this year. So I really had no choice and I wanted all the bells and whistles. They say this 150 HP car is too slow and doesn't have a 6 speed tranny (boo hoo) but I find it to be plenty quick enough and I've never cried too hard because it doesn't shift into 6th. Granted, it doesn't blast off like my 270 HP TL but I'm 56 years old and not needing to blast off so much anymore. (My 16 year old is probably blasting off.) The stereo is amazing (just like my TL) , I can blast my Beatles 2009 Remastered Box set on a USB stick and listen to every album ever made in the history of mankind (except The Beatles) on Spotify. The backup camera is awesome, I have a much bigger screen than the one on my iPhone for navi and I can even paddle shift if I want to. (I really don't want to so much.) The car is beautiful inside and out, rides and handles like a dream and gets 30 friggin' mpg! Okay, the voice recognition sucks but voice recognition always sucks. Maybe when I get Siri Eyes Free this week, that'll even be awesome. Anyway, this is the perfect car for me and I just don't get it.
