GGGGGREAT!

You'll be hard pressed to find a better deal on a vehicle (I tried). Friendly unassuming bunch as honest as day is long. Give'am a try, they won't disappoint.

Great experience - Civic Hybrid

I needed a car for my teen daughter and I thought these cars might fit the bill. I found exactly what I was looking for here. This dealer specializes in salvage vehicles - primarily hail damaged ones. So as long as you know what you are getting into this can be a great experience. They have a big lot. Its easiest just to go, look around, find what you like, and then take some test drives. You can drive anything around the lot. If you want to take it out on the road then just drive it up to the office and get a plate. They will recommend you have the car inspected by a mechanic of your choosing. Then just schedule it with East Side and get it done. They will review the mechanics report with you and fix anything significant that needs to be done. In my case the car needed a hybrid battery and a new restrictor pipe. They made the repairs and several others without any hassle. Now all this takes time naturally so if you absolutely have to have a perfect car immediately you need to think about that. In my case it was about two weeks of working together before I picked up the car and finalized the deal. Throughout the process East Side was great to work with, no hassle, no pressure, and most important they do not negotiate pricing. Understand this is a no haggle dealership and you will avoid the problems I see in other reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone there and my daughter could not be happier with her nice little Civic.

2012 Chevy Cruze

The car worked great but they also made sure it was tip top before I came back. The purchasing process was quick, they explained everything to me and were very friendly.

Do not waste your time

I called on Monday to discuss a car and tried to negotiate the price of a SPECIFIC vehicle over the phone as I live 7 hours away. I was told they will not negotiate over the phone. When I asked why, the salesman said it is because of the price goes up, it would change the tax amount - this should have been my first clue to run. Why would the price go up? If you are a reputable and honest business, the agreement should never go up, only if there are extras requested by the buyer that are negotiated for on the spot. Even then, I asked to negotiate, not sign papers. My wife and I decide to drive the 7 hours to look at the car. We take it for a test drive. It appears to be in very good condition; as advertised. We come back and talk with a young lads in the office about buying the car. I give my reasons for why I am offering them less than what they are asking, she says there is no room for negotiation on this vehicle. I offer to split the difference and she responds the same way. I can not tell you how livid I am with this dealership. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. I wasted 14 hours in the car, a $95 hotel stay, and decent dinner for $50 all to spend less than 3 minutes in the office.

Unprofessional

I was inquiring about a vehicle was then informed that the car had either hail or flood damage but it had a 1 year warranty so I thought I would give it a try. After giving my trade information their tune change they apparently have a bad bias against german cars. I was trading an M series with service records since day one done at a bmw dealership but that was non of their concern they treated my like some negligent car owner that doesn't take care of my car. Thay have also since stopped replying to emails and contacts. So I since have decided to keep my car and get something from a more reputable source and was spared from doing business with this company I would hate to see how they handle warranty repairs if they cant handle inquiries properly. Bottom line its not worth your time or headache go somewhere that does good business.

East Side Auto was exactly what I wanted.

This is exactly how I wanted to buy a car. I wanted to buy the car I wanted, absolutely no pressure. I don't care about how the facility looks i am there to get a car, not a building. The staff treats you like family, you will feel like you are getting the bargain of a life time. We all get so busy at our job that accidentally we let a good customer slip through the cracks, we have all been that customer at one time or another. It doesn't happen at East Side Auto. I drove 435 miles one way to check it out, I was so tired after 870 miles in one day but the drive could not bring me down from my high, thank you East Side Auto

Very helpful and nice staff. Troy helped us purchase 2013 G37, the car was in very nice condition and well maintained. The sales process was smooth. Received our new plates in a very timely manner as well as a nice thank you card. If you're looking for a nice used car, this is the place to go!

2013 Subaru Imprezza - Hail Damaged, Salvage title

I have bought many used cars in my lifetime, maybe 50. So I felt I had enough experience to make a educated decision. You should only buy a salvage title vehicle if you know a bit about cars. I purchased a Subaru from Eastside for over $7K off retail due to hail damage. Eastside fixed what they had to, to make the car road worthy. What they fixed, has had no issues, windshield, taillights headlights... I had purchased a salvage vehicle from another dealer years ago and that one had issues appearing hundreds and thousands of miles later. So I did know a few things to look for and even then, workmanship may not be evident at first. I have put on over 25K on this car and nothing has surfaced that was not in plain sight when I bought it. I did not care too much what the outside looked like as I was going to fix it over time here and there. I still feel I got a great value for my transportation, an AWD Subaru with low miles that feels like new inside. I would consider buying again from them. I think they are selling less than perfectly new cars at a fair price. To me it is a WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET deal that works for both of you. They only have so much time to investigate each vehicle and you always take a risk with any used vehicle.
