Rebates, coupons and Buick points
I had an oil change and battery replacement and the service was fine. My problem was at checkout. There was a rebate on my battery but no rebate form attached to my bill. When I asked about the rebate I was told to look at small print on a placard on the counter for the website. They should be proactive in getting you the rebate info. I also had a coupon and have Buick points. I was told I couldn't use both. So, I guess I can never use my points if I have a coupon?

Hello, My wife and I went to Griffin Motors in Monroe NC
Hello, My wife and I went to Griffin Motors in Monroe NC to purchase a 2015 F-150 Ford pickup truck on 12/06/2024. We met with their dealer and was treated like royalty. But once it was all said and done, one week and less than 300 miles later the truck acted like it was running on 4 cylinders and the engine light came on. It also had a weird scratching sound that only took place three times at speeds above 40 mph Let's note that the test drive was one and a half blocks on the hwy and three turns on 25mph streets which took us back to the dealership. I hope that the dealership will reach out before this week ending 12/19/2024 with a resolve that doesn't come with further money on our part. The truck is past the statute of limitations to be considered a "Lemon". Scam is the Word that comes to mind. I spose the cheapest way to resolve this issue is to refund the 2K in full. And take back the problem that was certainly known to the dealer all along. We should no have to suffer due to another's lack of forthcoming honesty. I found a 2011 Ford Mustang on Cars.
I found a 2011 Ford Mustang on Cars.com that i was very intrested in. I clicked the link and it took me to Griffin Buick. I quickly called and asked bout the car and was transferred to Chandler. After talking through some details we made a 3pm appt for me to come by and test drive and make a trade. I live to 2 1/2 hrs away in Virginia but immediately started my drive down. Due to traffic and road construction I got there at 3:20pm and the mustang was sitting there cleaned up and ready to go. While I was driving down, some of the other sales staff had serious inquiries about the car but Chandler made sure the it was held until I could get there. 3 hrs later the trade and paperwork was done and I was headung back to Virginia in the mustang. Chandler and the other staff were very friendly and made the entire process effortless. I wouldn't hesitate doing business with them again in the future.

I brought my car in for the ABS light and a "sloshing"
I brought my car in for the ABS light and a "sloshing" noise. First, I was told it would two days to fix. Those two turned into three, and I missed an important medical treatment because I had no car. When I picked up the car (late Friday), I was told by Scott J. another part was needed, and they would install it and not charge for the labor. I said I could not miss another medical treatment, but, if I could bring it back on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning, that I would do so. I brought it back, but at check out, I was charged for the labor. They only knocked off $50 from the bill. I purchased this car from them and have never been disappointed, but I am out nearly $3000 and the car still has the sloshing sound. I could have had the ABS repaired for around $500. I was considering purchasing a new Buick, but NO MORE. I found Scott condescending, and he practiced no communication. If I did not call, I heard nothing from the service department. Even when we were going from the promised 2 days to 3, if I had not called, they would have shut down for the evening, and I would still be waiting. It will be an inconvenience to locate a new repair shop for the car, but without trust and goodwill, there is no customer loyalty on my part. Scott even said after he knew I was less than pleased, "I think you're a nice lady, aren't you?" I told him I was a military brat and a military wife and taught high school English for 40 years. Nice ladies do not survive any of those, especially in the South. I have written a formal complaint to Mr. Fridrich, though I do not expect much will be done. Bye, bye, bye! I would say the gentleman who drove me back and forth to my home was friendly and well mannered. Thank you, Albert. You were the shining star in this madness.
