Changing my review from "Boo" to "You guys rock!"
Ok, wow. I don't think I have ever redone a review before but I have to say that these guys went above and beyond to try to work things out with me. One of the mangers called me and wanted to discuss how they could make things right. They transferred the car I had asked about from the Hickory store and then worked with me and my wife to get us all on the same page. They even filled my gas tank since I had to make a second trip. Most people would have not blinked twice, but they really, really went out of their way to make things right. I really, really appreciate that kind of service since you rarely see it anymore today. Thank you Trista and Alexis!!!

Planet Mitsubishi now gets 5-Star from us after my last visit where things didn’t go the way they should have. I was called by the manager who was very concerned about the issues and did everything to make us happy customers again. Be careful or you are being done…
Most horrible experience of trying to purchase a car - feeling of getting ripped off… and lied to. We saw a car that we liked for our son on cars.com, it was advertised as 18,995$ on the website. We got a test drive and really liked it, even though it didn‘t have leather seats as advertised... When we sat down for payment, we were told the car actually costs 2,000$ (!!!) extra if we don‘t have a trade-in or want to finance with them. What a ripoff!! Never again Mitsubishi planet…

DONT TRUST THEM, TELL WILL TELL YOU LIES
At the beginning the dealership was very kind and I would have recommended everyone to go to the dealership if they was having a problem getting a car. over the time I started off with a outlander and I started hearing noise every time I dropped it I brought it in they said nothing was wrong I took it home again noise kept happening I couldn’t even accelerate. finally brought it back and they gave me another car to find out there was a major piece broken into the vehicle that could have killed me in my family. They gave me another vehicle which was totaled in our hit-and-run and was covered by my insurance. Even with that vehicle I was told that the Maintenance was not correct and kept up on that vehicle that could have also been tragically an issue. So they give me another vehicle then they asked me to bring it back because they wanted to sell it to someone else it was for a loaner. I had to pay extra money to get in a 2016 Ford Focus. The inside was definitely terrible in trash it has spots all over the place it was never cleaned out very unpresentable. You would think that they would want to clean it out nope still never cleaned it out I had to Big and Big and not even pay a payment for them to even do the oil change a part of the lease is that the oil changes are free with any of their vehicles. At first I had a good relationship with Miss Julie into everything started to come unravel she started showing her true colors Miss Julie was very rude to me I have lost my sister also I was dealing and still dealing with some health issues due to Covid and having the flu and other things. I never lost contact with Miss Julie she always was able to contact me that was never a problem given in contact with me. things started happening to the Ford focus now it won’t even crank up but they are now expecting me to make payments on something I’m not able to drive they took my heart plate tag and now saying that they never took it but gave me a paper 30 day tag. how can you expect anyone to pay for a car that they cannot even drive. ironically I received a call from Miss Julie she stating oh yes we have an alert about your battery that’s why your car is not able to move!!! how in the world would she know I’m having a problem with my battery!! Defined out that I think there’s a Killswitch on my vehicle I was driving from Newton North Carolina the day that the car started knocking off I’ve already had to spend money to get the car towed to my garage to keep it safe and for them to finally confess to day January 11, 2022. I could have died Newton North Carolina and taking Highway 16 there is no lights. Specially one of the most dangerous holidays for people to get killed in drunk driving was New Year’s eve which was the same day that the car knocked off because of the Killswitch. There’s some things about this dealership that I’m very questionable definitely if you’re going to the leasing program second-guess them go to another dealership that is more credible. I am trying to find all types of legal ways to go against this company because there is something wrong and something sketchy I have not even had the lease for a year!! And now I have been through four cars with less than a year from this dealership do y’all see a problem because I do!!! They are steady changing words around and they are now steady not even being customer service friendly at all Miss Julie definitely has again showed her true colors as well as being very disrespectful!!! She tells my mom one thing while I was in the hospital and then turns around and tell me a whole different story! Which is most likely about the same as the dealership and the service department is completely horrible. They cannot even keep staff in the service department. They’re not organized they lose track of everything and then on top of that you have to figure out if it’s really worth your peace. I highly do not recommend this company!

Thank you very much for expressing your concerns and I hope this reply will help give you some clarity. We do have a fantastic lease program that has helped hundreds and hundreds of people get re-established and back on the right path so hopefully with the payment history staying in good standing we help the customers move to a conventional bank loan in the near future. You are partially correct with the cars having an ignition/battery stop switch that when it is activated for multiple non-payments will become active and when the vehicle gets parked the system will not allow the car to restart and lets the store know there could be a concern. Ms. Julie does a great job working with all the customers and they absolutely love her and appreciate everything she does, but sometimes things are out of her control. All of these cars come with the basic maintenance included in the payments so all the customer has to do is pay for the insurance and like any other car that is financed, keep up with the repairs and unfortunately sometimes the repairs have to happen as well as keeping up with the payments. We hope this helps clarify the issues or concerns that you have expressed and if so we would love the opportunity to help you again in the future with your automotive needs. Never and I mean never give this company any contact info. I have asked time and time again to be taken off their phone list yet they continue to send out phone text every single week. I would not do business with them just because of the continuous spamming!
