They accepted me in for an oil change even though I didn't have an appointment. They even washed my vehicle! Loved the friendly service and smiling faces.

Great service, honest and reliable.

Service was required to repair my drivers windows as it was going up and down very slow. My service writer tried a simple fix to repair the problem but was not sucessful. I was called and given a couple of options. I made my choice to have the regulator and motor replaced. The repair was done right away and I was called again to pickup the vehicle. The windows works like new again. It was nice to know that all options were available for me. I like knowing that the simple fix did not work so I never have to wonder if I needed the parts. I appreciate the honesty and speedy service.

A wash would have been nice

After having my truck for five days it would have been nice to have picked it up and it had been washed for me. Those lite touches go a long way to make customers happy.

Run screaming

This dealership is despicable. My husband made the mistake of going to this dealership to purchase a truck. He picked one out and went into the finance office to do the paperwork. He told the finance manager, Jay, that he would not purchase the truck without a warranty and he was told that was no problem so he signed the paperwork. When my husband got home, we discussed the loan on the truck and decided we wanted to use our credit union. We called the dealership to let them know and we were told that would be fine. We were also that we could not get the warranty on the truck. We told them we did not want the truck without the warranty and would be bringing it back. When we got back to the dealership with the truck, we were told there is no such thing as a return policy for cars and that we owned it. My husband told the manager, Sean, that he was not keeping the truck without the warranty he was told we could get and Sean told him he was. As my husband was leaving the dealership he was told that the truck would be towed to our house and that we owned it no matter what. Sure enough, they had the truck towed to our house. What kind of place does this? Lies about what your are buying and then forces you to keep it. Fortunately, we did get in touch with a woman who was willing to help us and they did come and pick up the truck but what a horrible place to deal with. Don't ever go to this dealership and tell anyone you care about to stay as far away as possible

Dealer response

Hello, My name is Michael Cook and I am the General Manager here at Freeway Chevrolet. I apologize for the way you feel, and I also disagree strongly that we are despicable. I know that you personally were not ever in the dealership and you are hearing everything from your husband. I certainly can understand you standing by him; I would as well if I were you. My finance director, Jay Zomlefer, has been with me for about 9 years. He is a professional and has a very high degree of integrity. The fact of the matter is, your husband told the sales department that he wanted a warranty if it was available. There was no warranty available on the truck your husband wanted to buy because of the age and mileage of the vehicle. Jay informed your husband of this, and your husband was hesitant to sign the papers and Jay said it was 100% up to him. Your husband did sign all the documents that solidified his ownership of the truck. After purchasing the truck, we were contacted and informed that you preferred to go through your own credit union for the financing. We were fine with that, and we waited to hear from you and your credit union. Your husband came in and he and my sales manager, Sean, got into a verbal confrontation and Sean exercised poor judgment and had the vehicle towed. His point was your husband was stating that he did not own it and that he felt your husband was accusing us of doing something wrong. In fact, your husband legally owned the vehicle regardless of where he left it, and Sean certainly should not have had it towed to your house. When I found out about the situation I had Jay Zomlefer call you immediately and I sent Sean personally to retrieve the truck. I also reversed the contract and released you from the obligation of ownership. I did this as I felt that Sean was out of line, and if you were this adamant about not owning it, I was not interested in pushing the issue. Sean did indeed use poor judgment, but I have 97 other employees. One employee's mistake should not reflect on the entire dealership. Sean was reprimanded and I am positive that he will use better judgment in the future. I do apologize for his behavior. Keep in mind that your husband did indeed sign all the documents and he legally owned the truck. If we were despicable and did not care about our customers, you would still own the truck. I feel as though we acted swiftly to right the wrong that had been done by Sean. In addition Jay and I have both apologized at this point. I am surprised you did not mention that part of it, and only the bad part, but that is your right. I wish you the best of luck going forward, and again I am sorry that you feel this way about Freeway Chevrolet. Sincerely, Michael Cook
