Waited a Year and Eight Months and still waiting…
I ordered a 2021 Tacoma from Newbold in February of 2021 and was told delivery would take six months, which I agreed to. It has now been a year and eight months and they never did provide the vehicle and now say they can’t get it. Filed a consumer fraud complaint with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office which is in process. Avoid at all costs because you may never get the vehicle you purchased. Worst car buying experience I have ever experienced. If you want to get the vehicle you purchased you should work with legitimate Toyota dealers.

Bait and switch
The price of the vehicle was crossed off on the web page. I had to fill out a form with my contact information. The price I was sent was the same price that was crossed off! Just a way to get my information. Sad.

Top notch sales department. My wife will be needing a car soon and can’t wait to deal with them again. I would recommend anyone who likes to be treated well and fair to go to newbold Their service department is incredible as well.

Few hiccups, great final result.
Had a mostly pleasant experience at Newbold Toyota. All my concerns were taken care of in a timely manner by the general manager. Josh Roseke is a very easy salesman to work with. Would recommend.

Incorrect diagnosis
I took my car to them to determine why the volume wasn't working in my car, I figured it was the factory amp or the factory navigation head unit. According to their diagnosis the amp tested good and the head unit tested bad. The factory navigation head unit would have cost me over $3,000 for them to replace so I decided to replace it myself with another factory navigation head unit only find out that the volume still wasn't working so I decided to put my old head unit back in and replace the factory amp with another factory amp and the volume started working again. I went back to the dealer to explain to them that the volume was working with the head unit they told me had tested bad but a different amp. I asked if I could get any type of compensation such as store credit etc. They denied any type of compensation so I was forced to pay for a diagnosis that was incorrect.

Got the Car of our Dreams!
Great experience after loosing our car in a horrendous crash. We were able to replace our vehicle with a better one! Great service and great attitude - they really wanted to help us and get us mobile again. After experiencing some interesting and weird situations at some other dealers, it was like a breath of fresh air to be treated courteously and friendly at Newbold Toyota!

Found the car on the lot that appealed to me. Contacted Joe L. and set up appointment to drive vehicle. After driving several other cars I settled on the Camry. No pressure from him and lots of information supplied and all questions answered when asked. Quite knowledgable. Would repeat the experience and probably will in the future

Great Service Awesome Facility Great Selection
From the first time we stepped into the dealership back in October 2013 we felt welcomed by everyone we made contact with. In particular we'd like to point out the receptionist made an immediate positive impression. Very friendly, personal and appeared genuinely interested in our needs. We met Paula Louis on our first visit in the dealership and became very comfortable with her assisting us in our search for a new vehicle. She seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in looking at but did not pressure us in any way to make up our minds before we were ready. Unfortunately or fortunately we decided we were most interested in the new 2014 Highlander, which Toyota was still in the process of making improvements on. So Paula let us know the dealership would not have the new models in to look at until the beginning of the year. In the end we were glad we waited. When the new vehicles arrived in late January, Paula was prompt to call and spent all the time we needed to help us make the right decision on which upgrades would best meet our needs. She expertly pointed out differences in capabilities and offered helpful suggestions. When it came down to dickering over the purchase price, there really wasn't any. We came in with what we understood should be a reasonable final offer based on calculations and loan interest rates provided by USAA. Paula personally had not dealt with this process before, but willingly presented the numbers to the principles who would make the final decision. We were pleasantly pleased to see they came back willing to match or beat our offer. Deal done. From there Paula expertly took us through every detail of ordering the vehicle and completing the basic paperwork. Again we had to wait about thee weeks for delivery, but it seemed worth the wait. During closing, Matt Mohan walked us through the purchasing and financing process in minimum time and then Paula spent all the time we required to get to know the uniqueness's of our Highlander and even help us set up some of the electronics like cell phone blue tooth connections and personal seating adjustments. Overall, we would rate our experience with Newbold as exceptional. Thanks for making this a pleasant event for us.
