A simple $2.60 Part
Luther Nissan / Kia in Inver Grove Heights, What a Crock. Went there to order a simple part and was told by the parts guys I needed to make an appointment with the Service Department. For a $2.60 part. Well Guess what, I called Barnett up in White Bear and in less than 5 minutes they had the part ordered and will call me when it is arrives in a couple days. Guess where my business is going from now on. Several bad experiences at Luther and will never return. Don't recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible service and rude service manager
First of all, I am a retired fully certified ASE general auto mechanic. I have brought several cars there for service and each time received less than quality service. My wife brought her Nissan Altima in for a basic service (oil change, inspect vehicle fluids etc.) Got it back with low tire pressure light on...apparently they did not even see the light or inspect the tire pressure. Took our Toyota 4Runner there for the same service. Got it back and my wife complained about no heat when the car came to a stop at intersections. I inspected it myself and found there was no water/antifreeze in the radiator....it was half empty. Also asked them to check the battery... Got it back and the top of the battery was filthy (which will cause voltage loss), the battery was low on electrolite, and the terminals had not been cleaned. More recently had my daughters Kia Sportage in for a complete checkup...said it was fine. 2 weeks later engine light is on and they "cleaned the turbo waste gate". A few days later brought it back and they said it needs a new "waste gate actuator" $400 +. Upon picking up the car the dash electronics were now out. When I questioned the service manager as to the quality of their service and if they had even bothered to road test the vehicle before giving it back to us he became extremely rude and confronting - even going into his service in the Marine Corp. lol. Who the xxxx cares? They had been doing terrible work on our vehicles to date and I simply challenged their competence. As a former top technician in the automotive field I wouldn't even consider bringing my lawnmower there for repair at this point. Extremely poor incompetent service and an obnoxiously rude service manager compels me, as a former field expert, to warn you to stay away from this place.

I sorry to see this. I want it to be known that I tried very hard to resolve the issue while you and your wife were in my office. I believe based on you work experience we were set up to fail on this one. I do admit we make and made some mistakes but I always make it right for the customer. I do wish you good luck in the future.

Great customer service experience
Took my vehicle in to have them do some trouble shooting on a blower motor that I had a friend put in but it wasn’t working. They diagnosed the problem in under an hour. The new blower motor had a short in it and they even sent a runner to O’Reilly Auto Parts to swap out the bad motor for a new one. Charged me $140 for all that and even washed my car for me. Adam gave a phenomenal customer service.

Superior service
Luther Nissan Kia was wonderful. I really did not think I would be able to get a car because of my credit, but Jeff made me feel like I was in the right place. He made sure I was well informed about the vehicles and took his time with me as a customer. I was/am thankful for Jeff and Luther Nissan. I think they are my dealer for life. Since purchasing my car, I have gone back to the dealer for oil changes and I am always impressed not only with the quality of service but also the pricing. Until Luther Nissan, I always took my cars to those chain places for regular service, but here they make you feel right at home like you're a member of the family. And I am always in and out in a reasonable amount of time, no long waits and always under the estimated time. I would recommend Luther Nissan to anyone I know and even people I don't know.

Recall
I was very satisfied with the customer service I received during my long wait (December 17-February 11th) on a new engine do to a recall issue. I was provided a loaner car and they even switched the Nissan Rogue to a Sorento when I couldn’t get my elderly mother in and out of that vehicle for her weekly doctor appointments. Thank you for all you did to make the 2 month wait as smooth as possible.

Oil changed and tires rotated and car inspected
Not sure what I think about this dealership yet as I have only been there this one time. I would have liked to talk to the person in charge to ask a couple questions, and I did not receive a copy of the multi point inspection I did appreciate that they washed it and cleaned the floor mats some. It was a busy, snowy day for them, so I won’t make a judgement based on one time. I will come there again, hopefully not soon!

All weather intervention savvy...
This dealership took my call the same day and in 2 to 3 hours completely kept me mobile with a basic servicing intervention. The servicing department was flexible and highly qualified. The weather was a bit of an adversity with snow and other issues, however, the staff accommodated and even delivered my vehicle with a power wash...thanks for a great job! BG

Stopped in because of a speaker buzzing
Stopped in unexpectedly, as I was driving the minivan my wife typical drives because I heard a buzz in the front driver’s side 6 x 9. I was received with a warm welcome, and after confirming I had an hour to kill, the tech staff assessed the issue to confirm a new speaker needed to be ordered.
