During the final signing of the paperwork, a charge for an "appearance warranty" totaling over $1000 was included without my prior knowledge or consent. When I brought this up and said I didn’t want the warranty that wasn’t on the sticker, I was told that it was a mandatory, non-negotiable charge and could not be taken off the bill. This deceptive practice inflated the final price of the vehicle and forced me to pay for a product I did not want or agree to. I believe this constitutes an unethical sales tactic.

I recently purchased my dream car—a 2025 Acura Integra Type S in Liquid Carbon Metallic with a bold red interior—and the entire team made the process feel like a celebration. Maurice, my sales rep, welcomed me like family. His warmth, patience, and attention to detail made me feel seen and valued from the moment I walked in. Ralph, the lead sales manager, went to bat for me—transparent, fair, and genuinely committed to getting me the best deal possible. No games, just integrity. In finance, Maciring was a calm and knowledgeable guide, walking me through warranty and service options with zero pressure—just clarity and care. Lesly in parts was on it, ordering all the high-quality accessories that took my Integra straight to beast-mode status. Andrew, the service director, was a true MVP. Nice listings but bait and switch pricing with rude sales
Nice listings but bait and switch pricing with rude sales practices . I went in to look at a 2023 MDX with 30k miles. The salesman tacked on a $1300 “ceramic coating” fee and refused to remove it or reduce the listed price to a comparable market price. He pressured me to sign off on the listed price (plus the $1300) so that finance can forward my credit scores to banks. The car was beautiful but it was overpriced, and in front of my wife and newborn daughter the salesman simply told me “this is the price, there is no room”. I decided to go to Acura of Laurel and bought a newer model with only 7k miles for the same price Chevy Chase was trying to force on me. I go to look at the Chevy Chase listings 3 days after they told me “they don’t haggle” and guess what??? The price was reduced to the number I had offered them. I dont throw around the tern “profiling” but for the life of me I don’t understand why I was treated with such disregard.
