We are very grateful to Eastgate!

We are very grateful to Eastgate! They were able to help us in a very difficult situation. Our van developed a serious problem while we were traveling through Indianapolis trying to reach my mother’s home in Eastern Ohio for Christmas. The van could not continue to be driven safely without repairs. The problem happened on a Sunday evening, and no service centers were open. We stayed at a hotel and showed up at Eastgate when the service department opened at 7:30 am on Monday, December 23 with our two kids and a van full of luggage and Christmas gifts, desperate for help. The technicians and staff were wonderful. They had the repairs completed by lunchtime, and we had a nice, comfortable place to wait with coffee, water, wi-fi, charging stations, etc. And the cashier went above and beyond to help us out when we had difficulty with one of the vending machines. We are very thankful for all the technicians and staff who squeezed us in between all their pre-scheduled appointments. They made a bad situation better and brought us peace of mind after we had a lot of anxious moments the day before. Thank you!

Quick response.

Quick response. Fairly typical internet interaction with dealership sitting on a 2-yr old "new" vehicle in stock with 2 yrs of lot-rot on it. Not willing to really talk any sort of actual deal or negotiation, stuck with their price in mind ignoring the cars.com vs dealer website financials vs KBB's crazy numbers for the same vehicle. I rate them as "typical" new car dealer. Only thing I didn't get to was the old "4-square".

The service department is amazing!

The service department is amazing!! The service manager is the best service person I have ever worked. I drive an hour to have my car worked on because of the service department and the manager. I trust their work 100%. I have also brought my cars here for 30 yrs and have always had excellent service. I will continue to drive an hour one way to do all my business at Eastgate.

Would be a zero star rating if I could.

Would be a zero star rating if I could. Tried to call about the availability of a used vehicle. Could not get through. Tried to us the online assistant. Kept getting messages saying they will get back with us ASAP. We were on our way from the west side as we were out car shopping. Went ahead and arrived at the dealership. Inquired about the vehicle we were wanting to see. Turns out the owner of the dealership had the car for the weekend, and it would not be back until Monday. So, I guess they were not too concerned about making a sale. Plus, more wear and tear and mileage was being added to the vehicle. The salesman offered to drive it to where we live on the following Monday so we could see it...get out of here with that. Do yourself a favor and find a better dealership to do business with.

Intermittently for two months I was bothered by Matt

Intermittently for two months I was bothered by Matt Lange from Eastgate CJDR. Finally, about two weeks ago I made time to visit the dealership driving 60 miles one way. Lange casually strolled out to the truck that I was looking at. He strolled back inside and retrieved the keys. We went for a test drive. He shook my hand and while I was still talking, he turned his back and walked away. There was never any follow-up from him at all. Yesterday, I submitted a contact form online including a reasonable offer for the 2019 white Ford F-150 4x4... asking a manager to contact me. No one has messaged or called me back. Given their apathy they probably won't. It is entirely possible that someone other than a member of management read the message and decided it needed to be deleted as it painted a dismal picture of the sales team's performance. They conveniently provide no email account addresses for management anywhere on the web. Apparently, they only want to sell grossly overpriced new cars and trucks. Incidentally, the truck has been on the lot since November 2023.

Like to give a Big Thanks to Norm Thomas for taking care of my problem in a timely manner and professional manner. I was coming from Lafayette on a issue with my tire pressure gage showing low tire pressure which I didn't have. The issue was taken care in a timely manner!

Ashlee and Ryan listened to what I wanted and worked hard to make it happen as fast as possible. Usually buying a vehicle is a long, drawn out process, but the team got it done fast. Their after market warranty is the best I’ve ever seen. To be fair, I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and could afford, but after I found it, they got it done. Thank you for the great service. I’ll be recommending this dealership to others for sure.
