Disappointed with Dave Smith Ford – Buyer Beware! We purchased a truck from Dave Smith Ford, and it has been nothing but trouble. Since November 2024 (which came on the second day after purchasing it), the check engine light has come on repeatedly—even after the service department worked on it two separate times! After having to have it looked at 3 other times. You’d think after that many visits, they’d figure out the problem, but here we are, still dealing with the same issue. To make matters worse, the entertainment console constantly freezes, making it completely unusable. So much for enjoying road trips or using navigation! We trusted Dave Smith Ford to sell us a reliable vehicle and to stand behind their service work. Instead, we’ve been stuck in a frustrating cycle with no resolution. Customer service seems more interested in excuses than solutions. If you’re considering buying a vehicle here, think twice. We regret giving them our business.

The Used Vehicles Sales people were great to work with. When it came to the Manager Dan, he can't be trusted. I looked at a truck and was interested. Took a copy of my license and wouldn't fill out paperwork because someone else was coming to look at it the next day. Wasted my time. He CAN'T be trusted! I would Not recommend this place.

Honest sales with top notch customer service. I wasn't pushed into spending more then a set budget I wanted to stay in. .I'm sold and will be back

Should be zero stars. I don't know where to begin. Had some work done here and it's like they didn't do anything. The major repairs were done but not without some checking up on them. I had to get the insurance company to call them to get updates. I'm still waiting for some pieces as the job wasn't 100% done. we have left a few voicemails now and have yet to be called back. When we did receive the truck back the interior wasn't detailed and someone left their Starbucks cup in the truck. Just feel as if the repair shop is very unprofessional.

Daughter visiting Buffalo area from 3+ hours away and her Ford breaks down. Call about having it towed in and get told “since its over ten years old and we haven’t done all the service on it, we wont even look at it so don't have it towed here.” Really, a Ford dealership refusing to work on a Ford. Sorry I didn’t know 12 years ago that her car would break down 2 blocks from your shop and drive 3+ hours to have you service it so that you could now lower yourself as a Ford service shop to actually work on a Ford product.

ZERO stars if it was an option. My wife and I have a long history with Dave Smith ford. Ancient history with atleast 7 cars purchased/leased there until their Service Dept policies changed a few years ago. Look at all of the other 1 star reviews. Shame on them they're just awful and manipulative in adding un-necessary service to vulnerable clients too! Today I tried to give them another chance with a Factory recall I have on my new Ford I purchased out of state, and I was informed that because I did not purchase my Ford there, it was their policy to refuse my business. I am very glad to oblige. Spend your time and money elsewhere.

By far worst in service! you want your vehicle back in days with more issues than it arrived with this is your place. Managers who would rather screw off and not answer a phone but ignor being paged 10 times and called 5 just to gonand clock out leaving you stranded, you Enjoy finger pointing and people who blame other people for issues again this is your place to go. I tell you save yourself a headach and the hassle. find a different dealership to give your hard earned money to because this one likes to steal your money with a smile and make you beg for your vehicle back because no one but the commission-based service writer has access to wahts going on and just decided to leave

The service side of this dealership is awful! They had my car the first time for 4 months. Had to call and harass to get any update. I have small children, a life, no car. Finally get it back, breaks again!! They have it again for 3 months! No customer service. In fact, they were incredibly rude and downright insulting. When it was finally done the second time, you think anyone called to let us know? No. In fact, it had clearly been sitting in the parking lot for some time. I will be happy to NEVER go to this place ever again and to make sure I let people know my experience.

I would run as far away from this dealer as I can . Not only do they lie to you about everything that's wrong with your vehicle ,they will just keep changing the prices on you and keep raising and raising the price. There so called lifetime power train is also a joke. It says it covers everything untill its time to use it then they will find every reason that it won't work. The service department is a joke , the sales department is also a joke. The garage itself is insanity . Having my truck broke multiple times while there just basic maintenance is careless and poor . I would steer clear of this dealership as far as you can .

Would not recommend buying a car from this dealer. Especially if you're a POC. Hidden fees, shady service, and unnecessary lying. I wish I could go back and run but it's too late
