Review for CarPlace Motor Cars Dallas – Addison, TX I purchased a vehicle from CarPlace Motor Cars Dallas on 08/04/25 and my experience has been extremely disappointing. I was preapproved through Capital One for $80,000. Without informing or asking me, the finance team switched my financing from Capital One to Ally Financial. In my opinion, this was unprofessional, manipulative, and not transparent. It took CarPlace Motor Cars Dallas one month and three weeks to pay off the lien on my trade-in. Having worked in automotive accounting for over 12 years, specializing in lien payoffs for major lenders (MBFS, Lexus, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo, Acura), I can confidently say lien payoffs should be completed within 22 days unless there are major issues. There were no issues with my banking information. This delay was completely unacceptable. As of today (10/03/25), I still had not received my inspection sticker and had to call to resolve the matter. Thankfully, a helpful representative assisted me, but this should not have taken nearly two months. Overall, what has transpired is unacceptable. There is no professional follow-up or ensuring that the clients are satisfied until the deal is complete. And my advice to future buyers: do not rely solely on the seller’s word. Have any vehicle you purchase from this dealership inspected by a trusted auto mechanic before finalizing the sale.
