I cannot express how deeply disappointed, disrespected,

I cannot express how deeply disappointed, disrespected, and frustrated I feel with Subaru as a company and the Sioux Falls dealership’s service department. I purchased my Subaru Ascent brand new two years ago, and everything was fine until I went on a vacation six hours away from home. Out of nowhere, the transmission failed, leaving us stranded. I had to pay for a tow truck to haul the car two hours to the nearest Subaru dealership in Sioux Falls, SD. Here’s where it gets worse. My warranty was for 60,000 miles, and I was at 62,000 miles—just 2,000 miles over! Instead of understanding the situation and helping a loyal customer, the service department was nothing short of awful. They’ve been rude, dismissive, and unwilling to prioritize our urgent need to get the car fixed so we can get home. Instead of resolving the issue, they’ve been more focused on finding reasons to deny coverage than actually addressing the problem. It’s been over a week, and we’re still waiting for a Subaru representative to even get back to us. They’ve made it abundantly clear that we’re on their timeline and we just have to wait, regardless of how stranded and inconvenienced we are. After this experience, I will never buy another Subaru. Since this ordeal began, I’ve heard from numerous repair shops that Subaru has a terrible reputation for transmission issues and is notorious for refusing to honor warranties. It’s shocking and disappointing that a company I trusted would treat its customers so poorly after spending so much on a vehicle. To anyone considering a Subaru: think twice. The way I’ve been treated is unacceptable, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

10! Paul Dahl was like a miracle worker putting all the pieces together making it possible for Byran to buy the exact Outback he wanted ASAP and for us to buy his Legacy trade-in! We appreciate the team working with Paul including Management, Jeremy, Brianna, Mike in parts, and other staff at Subaru. Great Staff & Company. We are now a 100% Subaru family.

Great first time buying experience!

Great first time buying experience!! Easy, laid back, actually personable and fun:) But may have lost us with second purchase related to seemingly being too busy to go on a test drive when I had a scheduled appt., not showing us how features worked, no return phone calls or emails when problems were brought to their attention.

contrary to all the negative reviews I see here I have

contrary to all the negative reviews I see here I have nothing but good things to say about Schulte's. Have had Subarus for nearly 20 years, bought first one used from another dealership & when their carelessness resulted in me being stranded in the middle of 41st immediately after an oil change all they could say was that they had noticed some sluggishness in the transmission which they never advised me of until I complained of being stranded. Travis at Schulte was a savior he got my car right in, diagnosed, repaired, & I have never gone elsewhere. They are courteous & prompt. I will go nowhere else. since I have always gotten offered free loaner if mine needs to stay over half an hour. And their loan vehicles are the current year's vehicle's, not some beat up dead wreck. They also have a good gratis coffee bar.

After getting a salesman to talk to me and showing

After getting a salesman to talk to me and showing interest in a new Outback, I was given a used Outback for a test drive. The vehicle had a broken windshield and was out of gas. They had various fees on their price and offered a ridiculous low offer on my trade. I found the staff to be condescending. I bought a new vehicle at another dealership!
