Fraudsters!
Fraudsters!! They don't follow the law and will screw you over. I bought a 2020 Tesla from Nick at Finesse A Car. I knew it had some issues when I purchased it, but didn't realize the magnitude of them until I started driving it home (all the way to San Diego). I stupidly rushed the purchase because I didn't want to wait for them to fix the things that needed to be done and have to go all the way back again. FYI-the do NOT check over their cars (which are mostly lease-backs from Tesla) before putting them on their lot for sale. They don't even clean them! Here are some of the many issues I experienced; 1. The vehicle had a total of 3 trouble codes that require a Tesla Service Center to fix (Adaptive Ride Control Unavailable, Park Assist Unavailable, Air Suspension Adjustment Unavailable). Tal (the manager) later told me they spent $7,000 to fix these things, which should have been done BEFORE trying to pass the cost off to a buyer) 2. 3 missing parking sensors in the front bumper 3. "Front trunk unlatched" error message on dash. The salesperson told me to take the car for a test drive anyway, even though the frunk wasn't latching. While we were driving down Atlantic Blvd ~30mph, the hood literally swung all the way open! Luckily there were no cars behind us. We had to pull over and drive very slowly back. 4. The charging port only worked intermittently 5. There was a different license plate on the front and back of the car?! 6. They didn't have a key fob for the car and didn't realize it until I already bought it (probably because they don't bother to label them) I bought the car on Feb 22, 2025 and returned it to them the very next day, along with the signed cancellation form. California law allow car buyers 2 business days to return a used car. The dealership then legally has 2 days to refund the money, except they didn't! After reminding them every few days (I was way to nice and patient) and hearing Tal (the manager) give me all kinds of lame excuses (owner Rashaan is out of state, we have a small bank, it takes 5-7 days to get a wire, etc). All lies, because they didn't do ANYTHING but keep my money until March 18th (24 days later). I was really beginning to think they were just going to just keep my money until I was forced to sue them. Not only that, they also shorted me $500 because they FORGED a document I already signed when I purchased the car! They added in a "$500 restocking fee" on me. I wish Cars.com allowed me to upload photos, so you can see how they just wrote in "$500" on the contract inside that box (everything else is typed), when the copy I signed is blank in that box. How shady can you get?? Well, they can get more shady! Their pricing on Cars.com and CarGurus.com is $4,000 LOWER than the actual price at the dealership. That is because they factor in a $4,000 federal EV tax credit in their pricing proper disclosure. Not everyone qualifies for this tax credit (I didn't). But they have a solution for that, get a friend or family member to "sign up" to get the tax credit for you, all to help you get the price on the car you thought you were getting already (helping them pocket another $4,000 on the sale). This obviously gives them a very unfair advantage over their competition, by making their EVs look like they are priced $4,000 less. Buyer beware if you are looking to purchase a car here. They were actually nice people, but will turn around and screw you like they did with me.

Shout out to Nicholas and Tal!
Shout out to Nicholas and Tal! They helped me select the best bang for your tesla. The Tesla came with a cracked windshield but they replaced it for free! This is the only dealership i know that comes without any additional hidden fees for very good prices.

Not only do they mislead the prices advertised by adding
Not only do they mislead the prices advertised by adding an additional $4000 when you show up even after discussing the price prior to driving to them they also present the car with damage and tell you we fix the car after it is sold. Buyers double check and triple check before buying from these guys and or wasting your time driving to them.

Shawn and the team at Finesse A Car have gone above and
Shawn and the team at Finesse A Car have gone above and beyond in regards to service. I have never experienced such patience and customer service like I have with them. They fixed some cosmetic issues with a car that I wanted to buy, Tal is also set to perform another minor fix to the car I purchased from them. I can’t recommend them enough, if you’re thinking about buying a used EV, please do yourself a favor and visit the finesse team! Take a look at the car you want in their inventory and they’ll work with you. We’re happy with the Tesla model 3 that we bought from this fantastic team! We may even have to come back for another quality used EV from this amazing team. Anastasia, Shawn and Tal, and the rest of the team here, you are all top notch. Thank you again.
