The worst car dealership experience ever to the point of
The worst car dealership experience ever to the point of being derogatory and disrespectful. The older salesman decided not to show any cars because I had just started my search for a car for my wife. He lied about cars flying off the lot as the particular car I was looking at was sitting for more than a month. He even made a dig at me by saying that would I just keep the car in the garage and that I should come back. Clearly he was not interested in engaging with people of color.

BMW of Minnetonka treated me with the most respect I have ever dealt with in purchasing something. Heather was so engaging; she put me at complete ease since I haven’t purchased a car on my own ever. She was patient, attentive, funny with great energy. Just what I needed with a major purchase like that! I will tell anyone needing a car to go see her! Shout out to Dan Brode & Scott Houghland for treating me with kindness & patience as well. Btw? I just LOVE my new-to-me-car!

Everyone at the dealership was great. Unfortunately the body shop they sent the car to to get a scratch fixed caused a door ding and I had to return again to have that fixed.

BMW of Minnetonka service department delivered a first
BMW of Minnetonka service department delivered a first class experience for me (again) this week. When my tire was punctured driving in St. Paul (large thin rusty strip of metal), I immediately called the dealership and let them know I’d be limping in (thank you, run-flats!). When I arrived, I was greeted by Josh the service manager who already knew why I was there, processed immediately (without appointment), and handed off to Toby (one of their service advisors). After the technician rapidly assessed the car on the lift and sent me a narrated video showing the significantly damaged tire, and Toby presented several tire options (with printed descriptions and pricing), I decided on my new tire purchase and work started right away. It wasn’t long (while I worked in their spacious lobby) before the car was mounted with the new tires, aligned, and ready! The tires are great and the alignment is perfect. Toby, Josh, the technician, and their porters did an exemplary job of turning the disruption of a blown tire into a very positive experience! I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this service department for years, a huge factor in my choice to keeping going back to BMW of Minnetonka for my cars.
