Terrible customer service and not super knowledgeable

Terrible customer service and not super knowledgeable employees. Went in yesterday to test drive a car. Was sitting at the sales person desk, which had a cup of coffee spilt on it. Got back from test driving it, and coffee was still laying on table. Had some questions about pricing, he had to go ask a manager every single question I had asked (I understand they need managers approval for some stuff) eventually the manager came over to just ask what questions I had because the sales guy couldn't answer any himself anyway. Got my pre approval from my lender this morning. Called to let the dealer know if it was still available, I would be in to purchase. I was told it was still available, and that my sales rep was not in at the moment, and to come in at 12 once he arrived. I got a call at 1115 stating someone else just test drove the car and might he purchasing it. I explained I had an appointment to make the purchase and was told my sales rep wasn't even in to complete my purchase yet. They said they'd figure things out and call back in 10-15 minutes. I ended up calling them back after 45 minutes of no word, to be told they sold the vehicle to the other person, even though I had everything set up. Unless you want to get xxxxxx around, I'd strongly suggest not using this dealer. I understand I was not there in person to "buy" the car, but I was told my sales rep needed to be there (by a different sales rep with tue comapny). Completely unprofessional to even allow someone else to test drive a car that is "sold"

Thank you for the candid feedback, we are sorry to hear that we let you down. Used cars have a typical no-hold policy, and there definitely seems to have been a communication gap between our staff. For the spilled coffee, it is just a plastic prop on the desk to demonstrate the fabric and leather protection available. It was not real. The dealership asks a lot of questions about why you are

The dealership asks a lot of questions about why you are buying a car and what your lifestyle is before you can look or drive a vehicle. The salesperson when through them but I am not sure why they need the information. It seems like they are mining. I will say our salesperson was great she explained everything and answered all my questions.

I really enjoyed my experience at Oursiman Honda of Frederick. Bill Workman is the most enjoyable car salesman to work with that I have ever encountered. The dealership overall was full of knowledgeable and helpful people. The environment was clean, friendly, and low-pressure (possibly because the pricing is fixed price, which I didn't realize ahead of time.) I was sad to go with another vehicle at another location simply because I enjoyed my experience at Ourisman much more.

Theresa Weyer-Bowie was my sales rep for looking at a new

Theresa Weyer-Bowie was my sales rep for looking at a new HRV Honda, & even though I did not end up with the car from Honda; I cannot stress how much she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. Any question no matter how small she found a way to answer, and a big thing for me even if she didn't know she made sure to find out and got back to me very quickly. I have to say that the thing that sold me more so on the HRV was Theresa. Unfortunately I found a car that fit me better, but I will definitely encouraging anyone I know looking at Hondas to go her way. I have a sister interested in the new Civic that is releasing soon and I hope she gets her as her sales Rep. Thank you so much Honda for taking care of most of my family and thank you Theresa for doing so much throughout my experience with Honda

Bill was a great guy to work with.

Bill was a great guy to work with. He worked hard to find me the CR-V I wanted and was always available for any questions I had. I highly recommend Bill Workman and Shockley Honda.

Hands down Shockley is the best Honda dealership in the

Hands down Shockley is the best Honda dealership in the DMV. I've bought many Hondas from this dealership (all from Charlie) and the process has always been easy and a great experience. After going to a different dealership recently (only due to the current market conditions and vehicles available) and having the complete opposite experience, I am now confident I will not purchase another Honda from any other dealership. I want to thank Shockley Honda for being a true example of great service! They have always gone above and beyond with every transaction.
