Patrick was great to work with.
Patrick was great to work with. Presented me with details of the vehicle we were interested. Made the buying process easy. I would work with Patrick again.

Stopped by the lot, no one came out of the office.
Stopped by the lot, no one came out of the office. We walked around for over 165 minutes and found the car we wanted to look at..it had never been detailed.

Patrick at Car Trader LLC did an excellent job getting
Patrick at Car Trader LLC did an excellent job getting our recent high school grad into a 2018 Chevy Cruze. Patrick had a great selection of cars, a mechanic that helped get the car ready for sale with an oil change and new bulbs, and the entire process was smooth. Patrick was honest, helpful and really helped our son find the right car for him.

I absolutely did NOT want to write this review.
I absolutely did NOT want to write this review. There was literally nothing good about this transaction and I had intended to just keep my feelings about it to myself. This last disaster, however, has made it so I feel like I have no choice. We’ve been looking for a car for our son. His dad was going to co-sign for him so he could begin building credit. We found a car at this lot that checked all the boxes my son was hoping for. He adored the car and the test drive went very smoothly. So, we gave him our down payment, went through all the paperwork and got ready to drive the 65 miles back home with a very happy young man. We were barely on the interstate when the parking brake light, the check engine light, and a couple other lights all came on. So, I called Patrick and he asked us to bring the car back. We brought the car back but his mechanic had just gone to lunch so Patrick put a code reader on it. I’m not a mechanic so I won’t pretend I remember the code he told me it was throwing but I do remember that what he told us at that moment had some tie into the transmission (we looked it up). He asked that we go home and the car would be ready the next day. We didn’t hear anything back so I texted him later that night to ask if we would still be able to come get the car and now, he wasn’t sure, he would have to talk to the mechanic and get back to me. This immediately made me uneasy. So the next day, I reach out and the car isn’t done. He wouldn’t specifically tell me what was wrong “It was a sensor…who knew, right?” and his mechanic isn’t available to clarify WHAT sensor. He asks for patience, all the while doing nothing to try to calm my uneasiness. So finally around 6 that night, I called and he said they had to order a part from Honda and it would be there Monday or Tuesday and the car would definitely be done by Wednesday. At this point, I told him we were very uncomfortable with how this was going and we would like to come get our down payment back and cancel the sale of the car. He was immediately angry and got very aggressive. Told me he couldn’t understand why I would want out of such a great deal on a great car, it was going to be totally checked over and we wouldn’t have any problems from there, if we didn’t take it, he could sell the car with no trouble, someone even wanted to check it out while we were getting ready to sign the papers but he told them we were buying it…to being almost insulting by telling me if he wasn’t such an honest guy, he could have told me it was an O2 sensor and I’d have believed it. My husband finally said Fine, let him fix the car. Patrick said he would call me first thing Monday with an update but failed to mention that was his day off until my husband emailed him. I called him Tuesday and he said the part had arrived and was being installed. He told me whatever part they were supposedly replacing and he’d call me Wednesday once it was looked over and ready to go. Wednesday comes and he calls to say the car is still having issues and he was finally willing to let us out of the deal. He said that there was nothing to sign and his boss would be in the next day to write us a check that he would mail to us. As I was going over the paperwork he had given us, it dawned on us that he never put my son on the loan in any fashion. In all the excitement, my husband didn’t think about my son needing to sign and my son didn’t know he had to sign when it was a co-signing situation. So, today it has been a full week since our down payment refund check was supposed to have been mailed to us and when it didn’t arrive in todays mail, I broke down and called again. I was informed that his boss had to leave town for work and would be in “tomorrow” to write us a check and he could either mail it or we could come pick it up. At no point did he think to reach out and let me know the check wasn’t coming. My son really can’t move forward with getting a car until it is returned. I am so beyond disappointed

They are shady.
They are shady. Make sure you get a Carfax report and have a mechanic to verify the functionality of the vehicle. Furthermore, it's been 6 months and I still do not have a title.

There’s a lot going on here.
There’s a lot going on here. Key fobs didn’t work, most didn’t have originals, I asked before driving there about one car’s condition since pictures weren’t clear. They told me it was “in great shape”. Got there, disgusting on inside from heavy smoker, ripped seats, busted tail light, dented bumper. And he still maintained it was in “great shape”. Their cars were so overpriced. Sellers had very little car knowledge… just some young kid who barely knew how to speak as an adult. Lot and office were very dirty, no lights in the office so it was dark. He admitted to us they buy “junk” (his words) cars and clean them up to resell. Everything was WAY overpriced. Cars scattered everywhere. Just looked like a disaster waiting to happen. Not reputable by any means. Don’t waste your time on this junk.
