Bait and Switch with Unnecessary Fees TLDR; Bait and

Bait and Switch with Unnecessary Fees TLDR; Bait and Switch with Unnecessary Fees. Sales people are great, seems like dropped the price to draw people in and add unnecessary undercoat and anti-theft fees to raise the price of the vehicle. Typical bait and switch I would like to start off and say the sales people I worked with Corbin (hope I spelled that right) and Bruce we top notch folks. Very accommodating and communicative. They are outstanding people that deserved to be recognized. I give them 5 out of 5. When I called and inquired about a car. Corbin was main person I spoke with. He was great in taking several videos and pics of the vehicle (as I am out-of-state). Very polite and professional Like several of the other reviews I have read, the finance department seems to negative part of this dealership. After confirming the vehicle looked good. I spoke with Kaden who provided my financing options which I wasn’t expecting to be so high (rate and final out the door price). I thought it over and tried to haggle the price some, but Kaden and I could not come to an agreement. It was difference of $500 in addition to the anti-theft and undercoat fees I refused to pay. Corbin reached out a couple days later asking I had given it any more thought and I said I really like the car, but wasn’t going to pay for the price they were asking as it was a tad too high and I did not want to pay those fees. They agreed to match my lender’s rate which I was happy to use their as I’m sure this helps them, but I demanded to not pay the anti-theft and undercoat fees and to come down in price. The price I was asking for was the price of the vehicle that was listed on the site, plus their document, tag, and title fee at the agreed upon rate that matched my lender’s rate. I guess he would not agree to that as I never got a response after that. 2 days later they drop the price of the car by $1,028 more which is more of a difference than $500 that we couldn’t agree on and the anti-theft and undercoat fee. I haven’t heard from them. Guess those anti-theft and undercoat fees are important, but that’s okay. From what I read, looks like I dodged a bullet. I hope Corbin and Bruce continue to do well and hope the finance department does better because that’s not good business.

What started as a seemingly nice friendly interaction

What started as a seemingly nice friendly interaction with the staff here, quickly devolved into an absolute nightmare. Began by speaking to a salesman named Isaac, who was in the beginning extremely friendly and nice. He worked with me to get assurance on the cars condition and helped with pricing. To be fair to him, I have no idea if he is complicit in the rest of this, but I would be surprised if he wasn’t at least knowledgeable of the sleazy practice that this place tried to pull. However, it was once the financing started that this place really began to fall apart. I was already a little suspicious of this car place after reading some other reviews were others had issues once getting to this stage, and I should have listened to them. After taking all my information they were extremely slow to respond, taking hours or even over a day to get back to me or answer any of my questions. When speaking to one of the general sales managers, he quickly cut me off and said he’d call be back in 2 minutes, to which he never did. It was around this time that I realized that they were updating and posting more pictures of the car on other online listings. It was obvious that they were stringing me along for as long as possible, in the hopes of maybe getting a higher offer from another seller. Just from the interactions with their financial department especially, you can tell they are the epitome of sleazy used car salesman. I cannot emphasize enough, dahle used automart is best avoided. It is unprofessional, untrustworthy, and downright sleazy. They are obviously trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. The lack of response here and attempt to scam me was the ‘big problem’, so this review is what comes of that.
