Tamal was the best!

Tamal was the best! Very down to earth yet direct and honest throughout the whole process! During Test drive he sat in the back so my partner and I could feel things out for a realistic perspective. Would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a great experience! Straight forward, fantastic pricing, great dealership!

Do not do business with this dealership!

I purchased a Ram 1500 from this dealership on 08/28/2023. It looked to be in good condition, and it (supposedly) had everything I was looking for in my search for Ram 1500s. It was listed as having the 8-speed transmission, a bed cover, 4-wheel drive, lift kit, everything I wanted! So I thought… After completing the paperwork, I asked my salesman, Jay, when I would get the bed cover, because it wasn’t installed on the vehicle. Jay said there was no bed cover for this truck. I asked him why it stated it did in the description. After some back-and-forth, Jay said this was because a different salesman had posted this vehicle and mistaken a “bed liner” as a “bed cover”. However, the description was written as- “…comes with a nice bedcover as well to keep it dry year around.” Bed liner and bed cover are not interchangeable words in this context. This salesman that had supposedly made a mistake was walking past us. Jay stopped him and told him what was happening. Almost immediately this salesman says to me, “You’re going to walk over a couple hundred dollars?”. Two things hit me from this insulting question. First, his immediate answer of being notified what was going on leads me to believe this was no mistake, and more of a “bait and switch” tactic, violation of the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Second, his claim of “only a couple hundred dollars” is not true, as bed covers range anywhere from a few hundred, to well over a thousand dollars. To fix this situation this dealership caused, I requested one of two things. Either they purchase a bed cover for me, or they reduce the pricing on the truck. Jay told me neither of these things could be accomplished because “all of the paperwork has been signed”, and “the numbers are already in”. Regretfully, the other salesman was correct, and I did not walk. As stated, the truck was listed as having the 8-speed transmission. This was not only a paid option, but also has the increased capability I require. After taking the truck in for an oil change and alignment, I noticed weird behavior on the highway which was not indicative of the 8-speed transmission this truck was supposedly equipped with. Upon verification from the shop, it was discovered that this was NOT EQUIPPED WITH THE 8 SPEED TRANSMISSION! I ran the VIN through the Mopar website, and it verified that information, stating the vehicle was equipped with the 6-speed. I called Jay on 09/06 to notify him of this discovery. He rushed me off the phone stating “It’s just a paperwork error”, “It’s an automated computer thing” and “It won’t affect your warranty”. The problem with this, is that firstly, the VIN number populates as a 6-speed, so without manipulation by the dealership (a more directly obvious ‘Bait and Switch’ tactic), how would their system populate as an 8-speed? Also, wouldn’t a dealership of any worthy credibility have processes in place to verify the information they advertise is accurate and true? On Monday, 09/18, I went to the dealership to deliver written notice of demands. No managers/owners were available. After stating I would be happy to wait until one was, I was directed to John, the finance manager. He tried to tell me that “ you have no case”, “I have 6 degrees”, and “I’ve been through a few of things before”. He tried to throw the term “Buyer Beware” to me. However, “Buyer Beware” pertains to the condition and possible mechanical defects of used vehicles, not “Buyer Beware” of dealerships trying to scam you. I contacted my bank and was told that after hearing multiple similar situations to mine, they could pursue ‘blacklisting’ this dealership, and refuse to finance member’s purchases from this dealership. If a bank won’t do business with this dealership, you probably shouldn’t either.

We had a great experience.

We had a great experience getting our Honda CRV. They had exactly what we wanted at a great price. We put money down and then went with financing with our bank. We paid a little more for an extended warranty for piece of mind. John was friendly and easy to work with. The sales staff were friendly, helpful, and not pushy. The lot was packed with inventory. The office area was small and could use some updating. They had snacks and drinks while waiting. It’s not fancy, but friendly.

Some may consider an unsatisfactory experience.

We negotiated the price on a vehicle, not long after leaving I recieved a call from the salesman stating we have an agreement. I then offered a deposit and was told not necessary since i clearly stated I that can have a check tomorrow and was sent a purchase order for the agreement. The next day on the way to pick up the check to finalize the purchase of the vehicle, I received a text from this establishment stating the vehicle I had been sent a purchase order for was sold. This establishment then replied to a review stating "we're sorry the car you were interested in was sold". Then added, "there was no agreement". If an individual has recieved a purchase order, most would consider this part of the purchasing process and an agreement. Good customer service generally starts with attempting to rectify a situation, not making excuses and putting the business's mishap on a customer. Clearly this business has issues they need to contend with. Would highly not recommend shopping here.
