I just purchased my BMW here from Levi.

I just purchased my BMW here from Levi. It was painless and he was also concerned that I would be satisfied, unlike other dealerships I was dealing with.

Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with

Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with Daytona. We purchased a 2018 Tesla Model X. I realize we did not do our due diligence on tax rebates, but it sure would have been nice if they had shed their expertise. Because they did not, and we were not yet aware, this cost us about $1500 in extra sales tax (State of WA sales tax exemption for first $16k of purchase price if the used vehicle is priced at $30K or less). Unfortunately, we fell within spitting distance of this number, but not close enough, so we did not qualify. Again, we should have researched, but we had another experience with another dealer shortly thereafter and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the tax rebates. The real problem, though, was that the passenger side glass on the roof was cracked very BADLY. This is an extremely difficult thing to see in dusky light, because: 1) The windows are tinted very darkly 2) We weren't in the back seat 3) It is on the roof. This looks like vandalism as it was a huge spider crack, almost as if a baseball bat had hit it. We did not notice this on the test drive. We did say, "what's wrong with the vehicle?" and were told, "absolutely nothing, it's just a great deal" or something sales-man-ish like that. Our kids noticed it when they were putting the door up that night. I called first thing the next morning and was told that 1. The cost of the glass was about $80-$150 and they couldn't imagine the owner not helping us out. 2. It definitely didn't come in that way because they had pictures and the crack wasn't there. Now, this was not a rock on the drive home (trust us, we would have heard it- it was quite large), this is not in a normal place to have a glass problem. I was told the sales person would call me back. He never did. About a week later, I called again and left another message. No return call. About a week later, I called again and was told by my sales person false information about the tax rebate (he didn't know the difference between federal income tax and state sales tax) and that we should just move forward with repairs and get them a copy of the invoice. He also confirmed that they do NOT take pictures of that particular piece of roof glass so they have no "evidence" that it didn't come in cracked. My guess, though, is it is Tesla rage damage either on their lot or the lot before them as has been going on. Again, this was noticed as soon as we got home, so we were in the car the whole time, it didn't happen with us. I got the Tesla estimate. It is a $1144 piece of glass + labor = about $1500 to repair. I sent in the estimate to the sales person. I was ignored 3x before I got a reply. In the response, I was told that they sell all cars "as is" and that it was my responsibility to secure a pre-inspection, yada yada yada. I get it, I know that. But, this is extremely different than the norm. This absolutely should have been disclosed. I fixed other stuff on the vehicle, no problem. But, this was a BIG, expensive issue. All told, their negligence cost me $3K between the tax issue and the glass. I get that some of it is on me, but some of it is on them. That is why I gave them 2 stars, not 1. They had no desire whatsoever to try to meet me in the middle, make this right, or come to the table to discuss the problem. I was gaslighted and lied to multiple times. Don't make a mistake like I did. Unfortunately, I really do suggest you bring your business elsewhere.

At first they were nice but when I asked them if they

At first they were nice but when I asked them if they would share the pre sale inspection, they got a bit offensive. I told them, they can take me of their list cause not sharing the pre sale inspection is a bit deceiving to me. Then he texted me back saying, "Tell me one dealership who does that!". I listed 5 dealerships, and his reply was "All of which have worse review than us. Hope they didn't alter the inspection reports" I told him, "No, cause I called the independent 3rd party shop to verify everything". And these were bigger car dealerships and after his comment, I decided to look at the dealerships ratings and ALL of them had better reviews and more stars than Daytona Motors. Reviews can easily be faked and we all know some companies even pay for reviews. I blocked his number now due to his unprofessional behavior simply because I asked for the pre sale inspection.

Had a great experience at Daytona.

Had a great experience at Daytona. Miguel was very helpful in assisting us with our purchase. The body work that was done is fabulous and much appreciated. Levi helped with picking up the truck and promptly ordered the turn signals for us. I’ll definitely refer you to my friends.

Avoid this dealership at all costs.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. Over a year ago, I purchased a used Tesla for $60K—a price that was extremely inflated, especially considering even brand-new Teslas weren’t selling for that much at the time. Now, Kelley Blue Book values it at under $20K. I came into the deal with no negative equity and decent credit, yet I still ended up in this terrible situation. I feel completely taken advantage of—especially being a girl with limited knowledge of the market. This place is an absolute scam!

Dealership is a bunch of crooks and fraudsters.

Dealership is a bunch of crooks and fraudsters. I bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 32K miles from them in March 2024. Vehicle ran for less than 48 hours before it would not start. Took the vehicle to a Jeep dealership and it was determine the start/stop and diagnostic system had been tampered with. The vehicle has been at the Jeep service department more than it has been drivable since being purchased, I have spent thousands trying to fix the problem but because the diagnostic system has been tampered with it erases the error information and rewrites the error code with "Now" which is not a Jeep error code. It appears Daytona tamperd with the diagnostic system to rewrite/reset the error codes, so that they could sell the vehicle without fixing its mechanical issues and pass the problem on to the customer. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM DAYTONA, THEY ARE CROOKS THAT LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS TO SELL VEHCILES WITH MAJOR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS!

The dealership’s response was posted about three days

The dealership’s response was posted about three days following my interest statement. Had I been more interested than I was that was only marginally quick. In fact, my car shopping interest at this time is marginal. I am currently without a drivers license due to a health issue, and without the cash to buy outright.
