I was very unhappy with my recent service visit.

I was very unhappy with my recent service visit. I brought my 2015 Volkswagen Jetta into the shop because the heater wasn’t working. The diagnosis was that the heater core needed to be replaced. I paid over $800 to have the heater core replaced by Volkswagen of Schenectady 2 years ago and had only driven the car 15,000 since the replacement. A heater core shouldn’t require replacement in that short amount of time, especially when I have performed all the dealer recommended service (including antifreeze flushes). The repair was outside the warranty period, and the service manager would only offer me a $75 discount on the repair. I am very dissatisfied with this outcome, and I will discontinue using VW of Schenectady for service. I would have been satisfied if the dealership would have split the cost of the repair with me.

if i could put negative numbers i would do so!

if i could put negative numbers i would do so! it appears they quoted me a repair for over $1400k. When i took it to another VW dealership w/o the history , they mentioned NOTHING of a $1400 repair. Only thing i can think was my 20 yr old daughter dropped the car off. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Stay clear of crooks !

Was greeted in the parking lot by Noah!

Was greeted in the parking lot by Noah! Within minutes he had me test driving a new Taos and 2 hours later I was driving home in the new car! Such a quick, process. Noah and his manager Moody were fantastic

I would definitely not recommend!

I would definitely not recommend!!! I bought a 50,000 dollar vehicle from them and the day I brought it home there were issues. The salesman was wonderful. However, the financial manager continue to try to bully me into buying a very expensive extended warranty that I repeatedly declined then when I had issues with the back brakes that they did not replace prior to me getting this vehicle as well as the steering the boss attempted to make me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle. Almost as if oh I’m a woman, so I don’t know what I’m talking about the whole vehicle shakes when you break and the steering is very loose. At this point I am not sure that they are going to make good on these issues at all and I’ve had the vehicle less than 24 hours would definitely not recommend them to anyone ever as a matter fact, the only reason I went there is because they are the only dealership where I could find a vehicle that I wanted never again.
