I got my first new car in this place and it was the best

I got my first new car in this place and it was the best experience being helped by some of the staff here. I recommend people to look for Hossein, the most wonderful man who can understand the feelings of a buyer especially for a first time buyer like me. He can handle things way beyond expectations. I am very grateful for having met him. The manager whoever he is was so very understanding and helpful too. I thank them so much. They are a blessing.

We purchased a Toyota car from Northridge Toyota two

We purchased a Toyota car from Northridge Toyota two years ago (March, 2023). They offered four complimentary oil change and maintenance services to new car buyer. However, they kept calling me to schedule a six-month car service appointment shortly after we brought the car home. We hadn’t actually driven the car that much, but they insisted that I bring it in. So, when the six-month mark came, I followed their advice and brought the car in for service. However, they just did tire rotation and didn’t change the oil, saying that the car had only about 2,000 miles and they only change the oil every 5,000 miles. Fast forward to 2024, I brought my car back when the mileage reached around 5000-6000 miles, they finally performed oil change and the tire rotation. At the end of last year, I brought my car back to this place because of Toyota’s safety recall. My car’s mileage was also at 9,658 miles, so I expected an oil change. However, they explained that, due to company policy, they can only do an oil change once the mileage exceeds more than 10,000 miles. Recently, my car’s mileage is getting close to 12,000 miles and it was time for the fourth maintenance at this dealership. I was told that because two years had passed, I would now have to pay for the service. It turned out that the so-called four free oil changes were only honored once. Looking back, it feels like the whole team was working in sync, like an orchestra, to mislead and trap customer! I previously owned another Japanese brand car, and that company also offered four complimentary oil changes for new car buyer. We bought our car in another state, but after bringing it here, the local dealer shop still honored the agreement without any issues. I don’t know whether it’s Toyota company or Northridge Toyota behind this game, but is it really worth risking your reputation just to save a small oil change fee?

This is your typically scammy dealership.

This is your typically scammy dealership. They use bait and switch tactics out the wazzoo. I confirmed the price of the car I wanted over the phone before driving 45 minutes to get to the dealership, and when I got there they told me the price was like $4,000 higher than I was originally quoted. I guess they added on extra features to the car at the dealership, but didn’t tell me before I made the trip. They refused to bring down the price. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.

Disappointing Experience at Northridge Toyota After a

Disappointing Experience at Northridge Toyota After a three-month search, I found a Gold Certified used Toyota Tacoma at Northridge Toyota. While the exterior was well-detailed and the dealership addressed a scratch on the hood, the interior was neglected—grimy seats, filthy visors, and missing all-weather floor mats. We purchased the truck with the agreement that the interior would be cleaned and the mats provided. Upon returning the next day, after notifying them in advance, we waited 20 minutes only to find the interior untouched and no mats installed. They offered a set of Rough Country mats that didn't fit; upon checking with the manufacturer, I discovered they were designed for a Ford Ranger, not a Tacoma. The showroom environment was also unprofessional. Loud music played during the paperwork process. While our salesperson turned it down at our request, the General Sales Manager, Ali Cheikh, turned it back up and refused to lower it when asked. He even instructed the salesperson not to proceed with the sale until I apologized for expressing my frustration. The next day, a DJ was set up in the showroom, making the environment even more chaotic. During the test drive, we only drove on surface streets. On the freeway on the drive home, the new dealer installed Advanta ATX-850 tires produced a loud whining noise due to their aggressive tread pattern. These tires are among the cheapest options for the Tacoma and are manufactured in China. Additionally, the rear bumper was replaced by the dealer and improperly installed, with a four-inch gap on one side and a one-inch gap on the other. When I pointed this out, the salesperson merely shrugged. The only positive aspect was working with Sam Jones in the finance department. He was professional, informative, and handled the paperwork efficiently. While we're satisfied with the vehicle itself, the overall experience at Northridge Toyota was disappointing. I would caution others to be aware of potential issues with customer service and dealership professionalism.

Avoid this dealership at all costs.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. They resort to deceitful tactics to lure you in. I made it clear to the salesperson that I would not visit until I obtained financing approval, as I anticipated my credit score would necessitate some time for processing. The salesman later informed me that I would need a co-signer. I enlisted my mother for this role, and later that evening, he claimed that I was fully approved with a requirement of $2,500 down. I agreed to come in. Upon my arrival, I was presented with an approval that included a $2,500 down payment and a monthly payment of $761, which I found to be quite high. Given my credit situation, I understood the rationale. However, I soon discovered that the approval was based solely on my mother's credit, which stood at a mere 622, and she had never taken out a car loan before. This lack of transparency was frustrating, as they continued to pressure me into accepting the payment terms, despite my repeated refusals. I even inquired about another vehicle that was only $700 more, but they ignored me and failed to provide any documentation regarding the interest rate or payment breakdown. Instead, they rushed my mother to sign all necessary paperwork without showing me any relevant details. After I finally managed to obtain the paperwork my mother signed in haste, revealing that she was offered a staggering 29% APR for her first loan. With an almost $800 monthly payment, the total loan amount would reach $51,000. Such terms are outrageous, especially considering that the average interest rate for a car loan for someone with a 620 credit score typically falls between 9% and 13%. This dealership took advantage of my mother’s inexperience, and I'm now exploring legal options to address this situation. Additionally, I encountered further issues upon receiving the keys to my vehicle. They had promised to wash and charge the car, yet that was ignored during the four hours I spent at the dealership. After leaving, I noticed that my license plate was barely attached, hanging by just one screw. I returned to have them fix it, only to find that they used an oversized, rusted bolt that damaged the mounting hole. To make matters worse, they didn’t even provide me with a license plate that had current tags, leaving me to drive a vehicle with expired 2023 tags, which is both absurd and unprofessional. Upon closer inspection of the car, I discovered two large black stickers on the doors, concealing previous markings. This made me realize why they were reluctant to offer me the other vehicle I had expressed interest in; they seemed eager to offload this one without being transparent about its condition. They assured me that the car had undergone a complete mechanical inspection and was in perfect working order. However, I have since heard unsettling noises and noticed irregularities that raise serious doubts about their claims. It’s infuriating that they burdened my mother with a $51,000 loan for a car that may not have been thoroughly vetted or genuinely approved. Their practices are not only unprofessional but also ethically questionable. I strongly urge anyone considering this dealership to think twice before engaging with them. Save yourself the trouble and seek alternatives that prioritize honesty and customer care.

I unfortunately fell victim to an attempted bait & switch

I unfortunately fell victim to an attempted bait & switch of a used vehicle on their lot and wasted about 30 minutes of watching salesmen play cat and mouse "looking" for the vehicle I was supposed to buy. Scott is an unprofessional and rude salesman who lied about the vehicle I was interested in being sold at auction less than 3 hours after he sent me an out the door price for it and less than 6 hours after his sales manager personally confirmed to me that it was available. He said that it sold "this morning" when I arrived at the dealership, but the email I received from him showing the out the door offer was at 4:55pm. I arrived at the dealership at around 7:30pm. When I began leaving, he immediately began raising his voice and scolding me saying that they don't take online inquiries seriously from potential customers and that it is essentially my fault for not coming in sooner or playing "negotiation" with them in person. He tried to show me a different scratched up vehicle instead that had a car accident with a dirty carfax report. Being rude and condescending to a customer and blaming their own faults on others is not a way to fool a potential bait and switch victim of your scam. These salesmen obviously have no clue what they're doing and this entire dealership is a racket.
