South Shore Kia has great service and my salesperson Axel

South Shore Kia has great service and my salesperson Axel Pineda was a pleasure to work with. The process was quick and efficient, he knew exactly what he was talking about, any questions I had he would answer and helped me with my options since I did not know what I wanted at first. He also speaks Spanish which helped me communicate with him since my english isn’t as great. I am excited to be driving my new 2025 Kia K4.

Worst experience ever during the sale and transaction.

Worst experience ever during the sale and transaction. The numbers were all over the place with the finance manager, also sales person was not aware anything about warranty and all. I would always avoid this dealership and go somewhere else to buy cars.

Had a great service experience.

Had a great service experience. Paul Rocco and Dona were so helpful. Got an oil change and multi point check for 75 bucks on my 3 year old Kia Sorento. Brought it in a 7:00 and got it back before lunch time. Cudos to the service manager Paul Rocco. Hope I spelled his name right.

I visited South Shore Kia on July 31, 2024, with the intention of purchasing a Kia vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my experience to help others make informed decisions. Upon arriving at the showroom, we were promptly greeted by a salesperson we worked with before who was knowledgeable and eager to assist. After discussing the vehicle we were interested in, we were informed that the finance manager would provide us with the details of the financing arrangements. However, after waiting for over an hour without any updates, we asked the salesperson to check on the progress. He informed us that the finance manager was busy, yet we noticed him talking casually with other employees instead of attending to customers. When we finally insisted on speaking directly with the finance manager, he came out to meet us, but his demeanor was less than professional. He displayed a noticeable attitude, which I felt was disrespectful given the circumstances. When I addressed his attitude, his response was shockingly unprofessional and offensive; he said, "What are you, a 'RET%#D'?" This occurred on the showroom floor in front of other customers and staff members, making the experience even more humiliating. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I approached the general manager, who asked for a few minutes to address the issue. He returned to apologize on behalf of the finance manager, but the finance manager himself did not have the decency to apologize for his inappropriate remark. I apologize to readers for repeating the offensive term, but it is important to convey the severity of the situation and the lack of respect I received. This experience highlighted a severe lack of professionalism and customer service at South Shore Kia. I strongly advise others to avoid this dealership. It is crucial to treat customers with respect and dignity, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. I hope the dealership takes steps to improve its customer service and address such unacceptable behavior among its staff.

The service department here is horrible.

The service department here is horrible... they lied to me and said all that I asked them about was covered under my 6yr warranty. The under carriage protector which is coming off because of rain and the road. I asked them was my oil change under warranty, and the seat lever to adjust my seat broke off. I only had the car a year. So I get the call to come pick up my car and the oil change is over $100 and the under carriage protector is $300, I told them I've never paid $100 dollars for an oil change ever, the manager from the sales department told me to take my and never come back because I refused to pay that, I said I would pay something but I refused to pay over $100 dollars. Run don't walk away from the dealership.

Before my visit I got a call from sales department to

Before my visit I got a call from sales department to purchase my used Kia and I declined since I want to see how the dealership service experience was first. We’ll - the service department was not good at all. Brought car in for recalls. Explained what the issues were. They ran the car on the sensor to determine the issues. The program confirmed my suspicion of what the issue was and then they just recommended to replace the part instead of fixing it. The cost to replace was 400 bucks opposed to the 10 bucks for the part to fix it. Didn’t complete the other recalls after having the car for three days since they said now they need to order the parts. Terrible communication and service.
