I picked up my 2025 Suburu Forester today at Northtown. My salesperson Amani Elbanna was absolutely outstanding! From ordering the vehicle to picking it up she exhibited professionalism with a caring and friendly attitude. If your looking for a new vehicle i would highly recommended to stop in and ask for Amani, you won't be sorry you did. Labor charge inquiry
This is more a request than a review all in all I am very satisfied with the service and professionalism of the staff and desk personnel however I am still waiting for a reply to my inquiry about a labor charge on my recent visit on May 6, 2022 with my 2017 Forrester I had three items performed one rate for a change recommended by manufacture to front and transaxle fluid change recommended strongly by dealership number three a heat shield bolt was tightened know there was other work that was done as well I’m not sure if I was miss charged for work that was not supposed to be charged the total bill was $373.40 the Forrester was in from 7:38 AM to 10:20 AM all I am asking is what was the hourly rate for the service perform or the labor charge for each of the items performed I have sent a five page fax to the service manager and reply was not given I am still waiting for an explanation I have dealt with Northtown for many years and purchase holidays and Subarus as well as my son I’ve always been satisfied with their service and their personnel and their professionalism and I am just looking for a clarification for this labor charge I feel perhaps a mistake was made in accounting please clear this up for me and make me a continued happy customer thank you by the way the invoice on this service was 240029 date was May 6, 2022 customer number Ford 28348 hopefully you’ll be able to look into this and give me a satisfactory answer it’s really simple labor charge or hourly rate thank you once again

Andrew Ayler was by far the best car salesperson
We recently purchased a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate from Andrew Ayler at Northtown Hyundai. There is no amount of praise that can truly signify my overall satisfaction from working with Andrew. My husband and I have personally purchased over 15 new and used vehicles in the last 15 to 20 years as well as helped countless friends and family with their purchases. To say we are the go to car people in our group is not an understatement. I was also a customer service manager before I was injured in an accident so I expect a certain level of service and Andrew did not disappoint. In all my years of car buying I can honestly say I have never dealt with someone who listened to and met our expectations as Andrew did. He paid attention to the little details in what was otherwise a humorous banter conversation between my husband and I and successfully provided a car that met my expectations as far as ride and options and my husband's for year, mileage and price. To be able to give both spouses exactly what they wanted without either having to make consessions is no little feat, as any couple married for over 20 years can attest to. All I can say is in the over 20 years of car buying experiences I have had, I have never walked away completely satisfied until now. Andrew more than fulfilled his duties as our sales person. I will happily recommend him to anyone that asks.

Great communication with Jack
I was very pleased working with Jack. We bought an Impreza from him. During this car buying process I was frustrated with other local dealers who refused give me loan information or vehicle pricing by email, dodged my questions and tried pushing me to go to the dealership in person before talking numbers. Jack understood where I was coming from and gave me the information I asked for over email without playing any games. When we went to Northtown's dealership, Jack respected our time and we completed the purchase much more quickly than I had experienced in the past elsewhere. Great Selection!
Very nice dealership with a great selection of used cars. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Cars are priced well, wish we would of come here first, it would of saved us some time.

Great Experience
Great experience at the dealership. Alex was very knowledgeable and low key. Pleased with the deal i received, will definitely send family and friends here. All the buildings on the campus were brand new and looked great. Free coffee and snacks to boot!

Shuttle service is unforgivably slow
I dropped off my car at 8:15 am today. At 8:54 the shuttle had not yet arrived. (I'm supposed to be at work by 9. Didn't happen, even when I got my car back.) The Northtown dealerships had trouble enough a couple years ago when each dealership had its own shuttle; I stopped getting my VW serviced at Northtown Toyota VW because they too often couldn't get me to work on time. Now the half-dozen or so Northtown dealership along Sheridan Drive use *pooled* shuttles, meaning if/when you get on a shuttle you may spend time trundling from one dealership to another until the van is full before any customer actually gets anywhere! Maybe that's what happened this morning. Anyway, if I had known about Northtown's new pooled shuttle system I would never have leased from them: prompt shuttle service is too important to me. Arguably my first salesperson misled me by failing to disclose the nature of the new shuttle system. I'll have my Subaru serviced at another dealer henceforth, and have no more to do with a deteriorating Northtown culture that seems to be focused solely on Northtown's benefit no matter how badly it inconveniences us customers. This is bigger than Northtown Subaru, it's a cancer that seems to afflict the whole family of dealerships. The Northtown dealerships were once category leaders -- say, 15 or 20 years ago -- but that's over now. Northtown customers, get out while you can. Insert your favorite cliche about rats and sinking ships here.
