2010 Forester

Found car I was interested in on-line. They were very responsive with my questions by email. When I showed up to test drive car the salesman, James Harper, was expecting me & prepared. He beat the "internet" price with no hidden fees. He & the finance manager both very pleasant to deal with.

Quality of Repairs

We recently had the misfortune of having a problem with our Subaru Forester while driving on I-95 near Florence SC late on a Friday afternoon. Subaru's Starlink arranged to have our car towed to McDaniels where the problem was quickly diagnosed. That issue was resolved, but a second problem was discovered and it was necessary to order parts for that repair. Caleb was excellent in keeping us informed on the receipt of the parts and progress of the repairs. We strongly recommend McDaniels and would definately be a regular customer if we lived in SC.

Subaru Forester purchase

Sales consultant was courteous, knowledgeable, and low key. Very happy with the vehicle. Process of taking ownership was protracted but probably necessary.

Here and Able were both great enjoyed the fact that when I arrived at dealership I was assisted by another person as Gerry was assisting another customer enjoyed the non hassle salesmanship

Low pressure, very good test drive experience

I was contacted promptly with an email reply. I visited the dealership without an appt the same week late in the day and was greeted very courteously by Roger, who showed me the car I was interested in test driving. Even though I'm still researching models and wasn't ready to purchase he did not make me feel rushed or pressured to buy. He knew the car specs well and answered all my questions. I would feel good about purchasing a car through this dealership when I decide to go forward.

Oil change took two hours. Had First Place Finish applied to my vechicle. My vechile was still dirty which means they put First Place Finish over dirt. The service gentleman didn't even look at my vechile when it was finished. I pointed out to him this problem. He replyed "I have no control over this, it is put on by another company." Well I told him Subura was an excellent vechile and Subura should stand behind the work no matter who does it. Also, why is another company servicing my Subura? I paid for a service that was half way completed. Since McDaniels Subura lets some other company work on my vechile and was told they had no control over the finished product, I will not be back.
