Beware of Conklin Chevy service in Newton.
Beware of Conklin Chevy service in Newton. They made mistakes repairing my vehicle. I had to return my car to them directly after picking it up from service. The turn signals and high beams did not work and it had a loud noise from under the dash. They had originally replaced the power steering assist motor. They charged me $190 to tell me that the turn signal stalk just failed and that someone cut the boot that was on the firewall around the steering shaft. I told Nick they must have damaged those items. he said no. He quoted me $450 to replace the turn stalk. I didn't give him a chance to quote the firewall boot. I paid the fee and picked up my car. I ordered a $15 turn stalk and replaced it in 5 minutes. They had broken the clip that holds the wire connecter to the stalk. As far as the boot goes, they just pulled it out and did not reinstall it. I fixed the car in 20 minutes. Sad that a company you think is reputable treats their customers this way.
