Liccardi Ford Sold me a pre-certified 2020 Mercedes S450
Liccardi Ford Sold me a pre-certified 2020 Mercedes S450 sedan. It was supposed to have been thoroughly checked. But it was obvious that no one ever looked at this car. The battery was extremely weak, the car was barely operating. The infotainment system was not working, along with other systems. One of the tires had a pressure of 17; the other three tires were around 30. The salesman said they would check it out in the service center. He came back to me a few minutes later saying that the tire is fine, just needed air. That didn’t make sense to me. I figured there had to be a leak. It turns out there was one when I had the car checked at a couple of days later. My Mercedes dealer found a nail in the tire causing a very slow leak. I asked liccardi Ford for reimbursement on this, but I got no satisfaction. But I’m just getting started. The Rear brakes were no good and had to be replaced, which they were more than willing to do at the Lincoln Ford dealership itself. Adding to this Nightmare, the right low beam headlight was out along with the active system. The sales manager said $3500 would cover it. But they wouldn’t do the repair themselves. I was suspicious and had my mechanic take a look at it the next day. His estimate was $5600 for the headlight and two control panels plus programming. I went to the Mercedes dealer close to me. And the cost was a whopping $5800. When I told this to the manager, including showing him the receipt I had from the Mercedes dealer, he told me I got hustled. The only hustling was done by Liccardi Ford. I called up multiple other Mercedes dealers and all were around the same price. As for the tire with the nail on it which they didn’t even bother to check for, the manager said he would reimburse me $250 which covered about half of the tire’s cost, but I never received a dime. All in all, I was out close to $3000. Let me emphasize again that this was a pre-certified car, which means that the car was supposed to have been carefully checked out point by point. Nothing was done. Obviously! They were even telephone numbers and contacts of the person who owned the vehicle previously, which I erased. Mr. Liccardi, you should be ashamed and embarrassed. Let this be a warning to anyone who is considering buying a car from Mr. Liccardi’‘s dealership.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed, as our intention throughout the process was to support you and make things right. When you brought your concerns to us, we replaced your brakes and battery at no cost, and you expressed that you were satisfied with those repairs. We also reduced the vehicle price by $3,500 after confirming air-conditioning repair estimates to help with that expense. We understand you later chose to complete the work with a Mercedes dealer, and we respect that decision. We believed we addressed the issues promptly and fairly, but we’re always open to continued conversation. Please reach out if there’s anything more we can do to assist.

After purchasing a vehicle from this dealership they refused to send me new temp plates after the 30 day one expired and knew that the plates did not come in the mail from the dmv as yet as I had told them. The manager always seems to be in a meeting when you call.

Dishonest and false advertising!
Dishonest and false advertising! This dealership tried to up charge me thousands of dollars for a certification on a car that was already advertised as certified. They then tried to charge me hundreds for a xx etching on the car door and told me it was mandatory. It's not. Lots of promises they did not follow through on. High hidden fees and unprofessional management. Stay away!

My Wife and I have owned 2 Ford Explorers and we're
My Wife and I have owned 2 Ford Explorers and we're looking for a new Ford Explorer Platinum. In our case, we know the Explorer well and going for a third Explorer. Talk about customer loyalty... We're paying cash. No trade in. I contacted 6 local Ford dealers and provided them the above details. All EXCEPT one dealer provided me an out the door price. I'm not saying that wasnt without effort - all dealers would prefer you to go to their dealership and then follow the process. I respect that but it is totally unecessary. Liccardi would not provide an out the door price unless I went to their dealership. I have no illusions that our not purchasing from Liccardi will make a difference. But heck, dont make a knowledgeable client walk away because you have your "processes" that you adhere to. Especially when you are a Ford dealer selling 65k Explorers. Good luck in the New Economy with that "process". n.b. - regarding the "Rate People you worked with" question below; I did not work with Mina Bishra but am marking this because it is required to do so in order to complete this review.

Unprofessional, dishonest and very bad service.
Unprofessional, dishonest and very bad service. I purchased a used car from them and everything they said was a lie and I had to take it to a ford service center to fix a lot of the issues. They pretended like they never sold the car to me. Avoid at all cost.

I have reached out several times to Liccardi, most recently on August 22nd at request of owner Greg to call - left my name and phone number with reception as Greg was not available. I responded to earlier requests on this site to contact Liccardi privately providing contact info. Liccardi Please contact me as my many calls and messages have gone unanswered.
It was terrible.
It was terrible. The price advertised online was not true and 0% financing wasn't an option because there were supposed rebates on the truck. They offered half of what our trade in value is on our truck. Our amount financed would've been $20,000 over the price that was advertised online. We drove an hour and 20 minutes for our appointment with 2 kids who have special needs. I even verified before we left for our appointment that the truck was still available and that it was eligible for 0% financing. It was a total waste of our time and felt totally scammed by false advertising.

We understand your frustration but as previously mentioned, the $7,500 federal EV tax credit is only available on purchases, not leases. This applies to the Ford F-150 Lightning and is a federal guideline—not dealership-specific. We’ve explained this before, and we assure you we’re not trying to mislead you. You're welcome to confirm with other dealers, but this incentive simply doesn't apply to leases. Let us know if you have any questions.

The will lie about the window vin etch, they will then not get you your title or registration in time. Now on my second expired temporary registration. 30 plus phone calls to get an update and I can’t get a return call back. The salesman is a joke and just laughs at my concerns. General managers refuse to return or answer the phone.
