Purchased a pre-owned lifted F-150 from Akins. I ask the sales person to send me a video of the truck before I drove a hour to the dealership. They represented the truck perfectly.

I ordered a 2021 F150 Raptor and had the pleasure to deal with Tim Smith. He kept me in the loop on all the delays that the plant had in producing new trucks with all the chip shortages. He was very personable and was awesome to work with. I would definitely purchase from Akins again.

Everything went smooth until I left with my car. One of the key fobs didn’t work at all and that evening the other quit working. I went to Honda dealer who replaced the battery in both. One still wouldn’t work so they told me it was defective. I called Aikens several times to see about getting it replaced but I have not had a good customer service experience when it came to fixing it. I still don’t have it fixed. I was told I’d have to purchase one. I don’t feel that is right since my purchase agreement included two. I was told by the salesman that i would have to talk to service and I was hung up on when I gave my opinion that I felt they should be talking to service or a manager to make this right. Needless to say I still don’t have a new fob, and no one has called me back.

Akins Ford is Great, love working with Bo Sorrells

We have purchased multiple vehicles from Bo at Akins Ford Winder. I have always hated the car buying experience because of all the cliche sales pitch lines. But with Bo it is a straight-forward experience with no BS. And as long as Bo is at Akins, that will be our first call for Ford or Ram products

Buying a Van

Although Jessica kept us up to date for the vehicle we were looking for, once she found it, her helpfulness and willingness to make paying a car in a middle of a pandemic less then thrilling. I realize the process of buying a car has greatly changed but I no longer felt like I was a valued customer and felt the whole process was very overwhelming and the friendliness she began with quickly went away and I felt like it was a business transaction.

Buying a used truck from Akins Ford

I bought a used truck couple days before Christmas from Akins. I drove it several times and realize several things was wrong even after I was told it was inspection for for two days. I took it back and drop it off with a list of issues. Here it is January 6th still no truck. I had my wife asked today how many days do I have to make a decision to return it if I wanted too. I found out that I couldn?t return it back from salesman. My first note is due soon but I haven?t even put 40 miles on truck, it is still in shop at Akins.

Excellent dealership, very friendly people, excellent service department. I was treated with very caring people when I brought my truck in for repairs. Fixed problem in a timely manor , would highly recommend this shop to others!!

Every time I go there to get my oil changed it is easy, clean, and fast even if they are very busy.

New Company Truck

Joe Alewine and Richard Dove were outstanding, patient thru the entire process. We purchased a truck thru holidays and it was seam less. Nice work gents.
