Write a reviewTotally botched repair
I brought my new Audi in for a contaminated gas repair. I asked for the service department to save the gas to prove the gas station I filled up with had contaminated gas. The service manager agreed and asked for me to provide the gas cans to preserve the fuel. I purchased four fuel cans, enough to contain the full tank of gas and water and brought them to the dealership. Following a lengthy discussion with the staff I handed them over to her. When the repair was completed I arrived to find they put the gas cans in the back seat of my car- EMPTY! They discarded my gas and gave me an "oh well" just tell your attorney we'll testify it had water. I then left in disgust only to leave the parking lot to hear a loud flapping noise coming from my car. The tow truck driver from AAA placed the car on the wrecker wrong and had dragged the car down the road until the tire was worn to the thread. This went totally undiscovered by the service technician who admitted he took my car for a test drive. The noise and brakes were so bad the car should never have been released to me without notice. I took the car to another dealership for a full investigation. They found front end damage, wheel bearings gone and, of course, the tire damaged. The car needed alignment and basically was a mess. Because of the spoilage of evidence by Darlings I was unable to pursue a lawsuit with the service station. I asked Darlings to make things wright by allowing me a good trade and deal on a new Audi so my payments would remain close to the same and I could start over. I didn't ask for a free car- just a "deal" like they would give one of their buds. They refused and would only apologize for the lost fuel. Totally dishonest, poor repair and sketchy quality of work.
