Purchase of 2016 Ford Edge Titanium

Wow! What a deal! Last year I met with Alex P. and John Speake and was able to purchase a 2014 Ford Edge. Just traded-in my 2014 for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium. John and Alex made this one pain-free experience. I am loving this car big time and plan to only buy from Koons of Silver Spring, Md. Thanks gentlemen for everything you did to close this deal! I'd give you a 10; if I could!

Best Experience Ever!!! Excellent Customer Service

I was in the market for a used Lincoln MKZ. I contacted Koons Ford of Silver Spring and was immediately put in touch with car salesman, Sekou Keita and Roland, his colleague. I narrowed my search down to a 2014 MKZ with a great MSRP and fees. I thought initially that because of rebuilding my credit that I wasn't going to get approved for the car, but Sekou (Keita) and his colleague, Roland were able to speak to the Finance Department and work with the banks on my behalf. Much to my dismay, I was APPROVED on the spot. I thank Sekou and Roland for such wonderful and outstanding customer service and knowing their craft well. Koons Ford of Silver Spring, you now have a new customer for a lifetime!

A real service department... Thank God!

I had such a horrid experience at Lindsay Ford that I was reluctant to use another Ford dealership for service and recalls. However, someone somewhere said go to Koons Ford in the SS auto park and see JD Schaening and he will take good care of you. So I did..... JD was excellent st getting things priced and prioritized in a timely manner. I can't rave enough about the service and the level of comfort I felt with JD. Like seriously I went in a skeptic and came out a fan...

Desperately needed to trade-in

Wes Roberts the rest of the team is awesome, everyone was extremely friendly. It took what felt like all day up seal the deal and he was with me for every minute of it! I really wanted to trade in my vehicle for something newer and more reliable. Wes was able to tell me the type of car and incentives that I needed for a reasonable trade off. I am very happy with my purchase and with his service. Thanks again! I'll be back!

WOW!! Customer Service Still Exist...Yeah

Went in looking for a nice used vehicle to replace our traveling van. Immediately we experienced a level of customer service we haven't experienced in a long time. Our Salesman Larry was completely professional and not pressuring at all. Once our decision was made, Larry gave my wife and me time to discuss the purchase. We were introduced to the finance department representative, Mike, who kept the continuity of excellent customer service going. Both Larry and Mike made this an almost painless (we are frugal) process. Thanks so much for a positive experience.

Diagnosing transmission problem

This dealership is a rip-off. Brought my 2001 Mazda 6 because of transmission issues. They charged me $1600 to replace a part that did nothing for my transmission as the issue came back again in just a couple of months. When asked the cost of rebuilding a transmission it turns out they don't have the expertise to do it.

Great Customer Service and GREAT SUV

Arrived just to look. Marcos inquired about our interest. It helped that I did some research so I knew what I wanted.- CX - 5, Touring. Marcos explained the features of each model, package including the difference between the years. You need to ask for Marcos. Knowledgeable, courteous, and he will give you space and time to think. He will also consider your options for the best price. Love the CX5 Touring with the Preferred Package. This dealership is so accomadating.

Terrible Sales and Customer Service

Keita and Dan are really good at what they do. Unfortunately they lied to my face. Not even a week has passed, my car tire WAS ALREADY leaking air, I thought okay it must be the air pressure dropping because of the season change. I took it to a shop after a few times of filling it up with air and the tire was labeled a 'Junk Tire' by the mechanic. This was already what was wrong with the car and still sold me the car. They also promised me a part for my trunk release. They kept promising it would come in the next week and said they would send it to me just to get me out of there. It has been 4 and a half months. I feel duped by their sales tactics. I even told my mother to not buy a car she contemplated to buy at this dealership. They put junk tires and promise things just to get you out of their dealership. Too bad my waranty doesn't cover tires. Add photos. Carol the director of Customer Relations called me and acted sympathetic with my concerns. Although she told to me to make an appointment from Tuesday-Thursday!!! I bought the car on the weekend! What kind of joke is this, I tried to see if they would take me outside those three days and she said she could not.. This is the worst customer service she even left me a voicemail and called me a "Butt Head" I also have the proof of the recording. I love the Mazda Brand but this dealership must be avoided at all costs. I will also be bringing this above the dealership.

Great Experience!!

I had a 2013 Elantra Limited that had begun to cost me some significant money in repairs in 2016. I liked the Elantra but I put a lot of miles on it and as I approached 100K miles I wondered what my repair bills would begin to look like. So I explained my situation to the Finance Director over the phone and he said that even though I probably had a lot of negative equity, that if we were on the right vehicle I had a chance to trade. I visited that night and they appraised my car, took some information from me, and said that they would work on a scenario for me overnight. Well, they did and the next day I came in and thanks to the Koons team I was able to trade out of my Hyundai and into 2017 Ford Escape SE. The process went flawlessly so I have no complaints.
