Oil, filter and tire rotation

Auffenberg of Carbondale, Illinois gave excellent service, prompt and very accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you I have purchased several new GM vehicles from Auffenberg and always fair to deal with.

Quick response

Had an issue that needed attention before a short trip. They worked me in and resolved it very quickly. Very helpful and attentive to my need for a quick response. Appreciate this dealership and their staff. Highly recommend!

Auffenburg GMC in Carbondale sucks

Would not take anything to these liars my friend took his new GMC truck to get it fixed for it home and noticed white paint down like the truck had been side swiped they totally denied they had anything to do with it then called him and cussed him for giving a bad review .. They offered to pay hi s deductible but he would eat the 6k in damage ..This place is a complete joke and treat customers like crap!!!

Quick Repair

Auffenbergs has been great with our purchases and upkeep of our vehicles. Our recent experience was no different. We had a loud, unexplained noise that seemed to get louder after a couple of days. We stopped at the dealership. They got us right in, they were right on it, found the problem, fixed the wheel bearing & had it ready to pick up in a timely fashion. Extended warranty helps! Auffenbergs in Carbondale is the place to go! Thanks again!

Always available for assistance

They are very easy to speak with and let you know exactly what any issue is with your vehicle and the steps to fix it. Any time I call they get me in as quick as they can.

Not the best

Visited, drove car. A new 2018. No relief on the price at all, and dealer proposed a high interest rate although I have excellent credit. Went back a year later and dealer still won't come off price even a fraction of what other dealerships are offering on same models. The car now has several thousand miles on it so it seems like they are using it for personal errands.

Good dealership that we've bought or leased 4 vehicles at. They have the best service dept of any I've ever dealt with. Have a problem with salesman returning calls. Otherwise great dealership.

Slightly Frustrated

My wife and I just bought a 6000 dollar car from Auffenberg of Carbondale and appreciated several things about our visit. First, while we were buying a fairly cheap car, we felt that we were taken seriously and treated with respect. We also appreciated that we did not feel pressured to buy the car by the dealer. On the other hand, there were some negative aspects to our experience as well. When we asked if we could take the vehicle to get it inspected by a third party, the salesman (while he would have let us) made us feel like this was a stupid request. We ended up buying the car without doing the inspection because a garage was not able to take us soon enough. The morning after we bought the car, the serpentine belt started to squeal loudly soon after starting the engine. I called the dealership to see if they would fix this even though it wasn't technically on the warranty (who wants a squeaky car on day two). I was told that this was just a maintenance issue and I would have to take care of it myself. I also learned that the Auffenberg mechanic had heard the squeak and didn't consider it important enough to mention. All in all, this is not a huge deal and will hopefully be an easy fix. However, the fact that it was not brought to our attention (when Auffenberg emphasizes transparency) and the fact that they were unwilling to help with the issue when it arose within 24 hours of buying the car, leaves a slightly unpleasant taste in my mouth.
