The service manager Vinh is very solid.

The service manager Vinh is very solid. His attention to detail and his ability to explain the services being offered are unmatched. He kept me informed and returned my vehicle in a timely manner and he even cleaned it for me. His addition to this service department has changed my experience to a very positive one. I will continue to utilize this service department.

Be very wary of this company.

Be very wary of this company. Purchased a "certified pre-owned" vehicle from them. I found out that it was damaged, which is something that the "certification" process would have caught. Hmmm?!? Tried to get them to fix it. Couldn't even get them to work on it. Got another dealer to fix it. Asked original dealer to cover those repair costs. They refused...making up any and every excuse, side-step and disingenuous comment they could. Their approach appears to be: The customer is always WRONG! And somehow they keep abusing people (check out other reviews, PLEASE) and getting away with it. Sad.

Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful.

Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a wonderful experience buying a vehicle from them. Michael Palmero and the general manager Brody (Brian Thompson) were great to work with! Kioki was wonderful to work with also. He had a lot of patience with us and really friendly. Outstanding customer service was provided by these guys! We appreciated their help on buying our vehicle. These guys are amazing to work with. If you're in the market to buy a vehicle, go see these guys, you will appreciate their dedicated service to find you a vehicle.

I called Matt Bowers Hyundai for a service appointment

I called Matt Bowers Hyundai for a service appointment for my 2022 Santa Fe. The fuel access door was stuck and couldn't be opened. I was told the earliest appointment would be over 4 weeks later. I explained that with the door stuck closed I could not add fuel therefore the car would be unusable for over a month and requested an earlier date. Was told sorry that's the best we can do. After trying to plead my case I asked to be transferred to the General manager or Service Manager. I was told that she would have someone call me. Having received no call, I sent a message using their website contact form asking for help. I have yet to receive any contact from the dealership. I contacted the Hyundai dealer in Covington and received a next day appointment for them to open the fuel door and schedule a later return for complete repair. If you are considering buying a car from them, well I think you can guess my opinion. If you're considering buying a Santa Fe be aware that the fuel access door may stick and there is no emergency option other than prying the door open and damaging the car. It is a dealer service item only.

09/19/24 Took my new car into the service department for the first time yesterday. Exceptional service with my complimentary assurance maintenance. A first, was the text updates as my car was being fixed. Had an appointment and was in and out in a resonable time. Can't wait for the new location for this dealership. Very pleased I switched from another Hyundai dealer to Matt Bowers when I bought a new car. Mary Savan Wilson

This was the worst new car buying experience I have ever

This was the worst new car buying experience I have ever had (I am 77 years old)! They use a classic form of 'Bait and Switch' in that their advertisements show all kinds of discounts and rebates that are countered with bogus items such as 'doc fee' and 'trade-in inspection' fee'. Their sales technique emphasizes high pressure techniques emboldened by cheap attempts at bullying. Having purchased many cars in my life and actually worked in two dealerships, their tactics were a bother. The worst came when they denied the $500 military vet rebate. It took almost five months and filing a claim in Justice Court, but I got my $500! The General Manager, Brian Thompson, has very poor people skills and is one of those 'cut off your nose to spite your face' kind of people. I doubt his career will last as long as he thinks. Stand your ground with these people because they want to sell you a car worse than you want to buy!

Make sure you have a witness with you when you visit this

Make sure you have a witness with you when you visit this dealership. I have just been to Small Claims Court with these guys and I can tell you the GM is not above misrepresenting facts to a Judge. When you go to the Finance Manager's Office ask to tape the process or have a witness. You are not required to pay for a trade-in inspection or 'document fee' to buy a car. Do your home work and determine how much you will pay. You will be presented with the 'doc fee' and possibly other charges you do not have to pay. Do not buy an 'extended warranty' on a new car. It usually works with the factory warranty and has a hefty deductible. These guys may work you with multiple people so beware. Do not be afraid to get up and walk out the Finance Office. Do not buy anything other than a car from these guys! Always shop other Dealers before you buy from this Dealership. Never accept their first APR for financing. As Long as they have Brian Thompson for a GM, they will have dissatisfied customers.
