Write a reviewDuped failure to properly disclose actual history
I was duped by top line pricing and bottom line quality, use caution as ethics of proper history disclosure doesn't seem to exist as I was only informed the vehicles history had light body damage. I needed a new motor months after the purchase and my mechanic told me that some of the parts were not mechanical grade and the motor was a poor quality salvaged motor which is material information to the vehicles history. There were other significant material issues that I have had to repair as well and have spent over $15,000 out of pocket to repair this vehicle. I was also informed by my mechanic some of the bolts used were not mechanical grade and from a hardware store so whether they put them on or not they are negligent for considering this vehicle sales worthy. I attempted to work the issue out with them, but would not have a discussion after presenting video evidence of the extreme faulty condition. I understand some things are as is when you buy something and was aware of minor issues, but they failed to disclose the proper history of the vehicle when I asked specifically that the body work was the only aspect replaced. Some wires that should have been connected to terminals were bent over and taped in place, as well as glue being used to keep some parts in place as well and therefore have hired an attorney as they were extremely negligent and this vehicle broke down on the side of a highway with my 3 children in it. My mechanic told me it was just a small matter of time before the catastrophic failure happened and could only thing the reason for the condition it was in was to sell it. Do yourself a favor and keep looking as this dealership is not even close to ethical given all the issues that I am fortunate did not case injury or further harm, which was a potential result from it leaving their lot in the condition it did. As a local business owner I would never treat anyone they way they did by not righting the extreme wrong they have caused as this has been a tremendously frustrating and actually as I write this today the truck is at the shop again being properly fixed which is simply not right. Do yourself a favor and keep looking but would absolutely not do business with this place.
