I had an absolutely wonderful and smooth experience

I had an absolutely wonderful and smooth experience purchasing my new Elantra, all thanks to Perell Dawson at Koeppel Hyundai. Perell was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process from start to finish completely seamless and stress-free. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen without any pressure. The dealership itself was great, but Perell's excellent service truly stood out.

Despite there being a hiccup during the sales process,

Despite there being a hiccup during the sales process, Shah and his team were very helpful in rectifying the issue. We left the dealership very happy with our purchase and during the whole process, Shah was helpful, not pushy, and provided very good support even after the car was driven off the lot. Overall, I would recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a good deal on a good car.

Shah, who was our salesperson, was very approachable, not

Shah, who was our salesperson, was very approachable, not pushy, and truly seemed like an all around good person. It was refreshing to see this energy at a car dealership, which can at times, feel pretty overwhelming and intimidating.

Shah was excellent to work with.

Shah was excellent to work with. Patient and knowledgeable. He looked out for our interests while respecting the framework of what the dealership needed. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would be happy to go back and work with him again in the future.

The service department is a finesse.

The service department is a finesse. When you go in, you are presented the paperwork of the work that is expected. The rep indicates the body of form that includes the services, then tells you to "sign here." However, the purposely leave out the $205/hr labor fee that they conveniently forget to point out on the form. Essentially, you are agreeing to labor fees without knowing. Do not go there, they are bunch of con artists charge people more than $$$ to fix a car than a doctor's visit. I would have never agreed to have my car fixed at a rate of $205/hr if I had known. I ended up paying $995.36 for front brakes, oil change, and air filters. They will NOT tell you the $205/hr rate they charge for labor. But when you complaint they will say it's on the form, it's posted on the wall. Mind you avg rate in NYC is $135-$140/hr. But they charge $205/hr and try to gaslight you when you complaint about not being verbally and explicitly informed beforehand.

Good morning Adal, Thank you for your review. To confirm - the prices you were quoted at time of write up ARE the same prices that we charged you. When you receive a copy of your repair order parts, labor and any diag charges are billed as separate line items. We did not "leave anything out" in our process. There is no false information in my review. How are you telling ME what MY personal experience was? The only paperwork that I signed was a yellow/beige form that lists the initial diagnostic work that was going to be done. It did not include a "quote of the repair order parts, labor and any diag charges." You stated, "the prices you were quoted at time of write up ARE the same prices that we charged you." By your logic, they were able to estimate that it would take over 3 hours to work on my car prior to a diagnosis. But I digress. On that paper, they do not point out that the rate of labor of $205/hr, (which is written in a little box on top of the form). Then I was asked to sign that paper. This is the same paper that was brought to me with a handwritten quote of the works needed. With a pen, he pointed out what was needed. There was no quote of the price of labor handwritten or otherwise on that form. The only time I saw the labor charges was when I requested to see my bill after I was told that I owed $995.36. Why is that? It's because the final bill/paperwork was handed directly to the cashier. I was asked to sign that final bill AFTER I paid for it. You should consider reviewing whether or not everyone is following "your process" as you noted before publicly defaming one's character!

I am not usually doing this but this time I must. Today my SantaFe 2021 was there 7th time for the same issue that I have last 3 months - AC not working. At the beginning I explained them a situation and they told me that everything working properly, and that they don't realize the issue and that I need to come back when again happend. Next time when it happened they told me that fan and transistor are not working and that they will replace it but I need to wait for parts. I got a call that parts arrived and car was there, repaired. The same issue happened after couple of days and I took my car again there, when they informing me that fan need to be replaced even they told me that they will do it preiovus time - we scheduled again and they told me that is fixed. I drove a car for 2 weeks and same issue happened - they told me that we need to change blower and cabin filter and thar cabin filter is not covered by warranty - I accepted. New call, car ready - I drove it for couple of days when same issue happend. New appointment, new beggining... I recieved again a call from the service representative who informed me thar car is ready and issue were wires and connectors but couple hours after AC not working again. My advice for everyone is to aviod this service since looks like they don't have idea what they are doing. At least, I expected from the dealership to have people that are able to fix Hyundai vehicles but looks like this guys are not educated to do that. I contacted Hyundai Motors America and I hope that they will help me to resolve this situation.
