Finally a dealership that "get's it"

Looking for a new car is awful. I visited several dealerships before I went to Westbury Jeep and met Lisa and her sales agent Allie Molenko. These two worked very well together and treated us with respect and honesty. These two virtues are long lost at other dealerships but not at Westbury Jeep. Lisa/Allie worked with my fiance and I for several hours to find the right vehicle at the right price. They had a tremendous amount of patience and knowledge about the vehicles. It was a true pleasure to do business with both Lisa and Allie and I would highly reccomend working with them in the future. They didn't play the games that most dealerships do and valued my time. Thanks for a smooth transaction.

A Great place to buy a car!!

In the past year I have bought 2 vehicles from this dealership. I have had great experiences on both occasions, the first time I thought it may have been an accident but the second time I realized that there is actually something different about the way these people do business. I have shopped at many car dealerships over the last 30 years or so and I have dealt with all kinds of salesmen and usually the deal at the end is not what you talked about in the beginning. Not so at this dealership from the very beginning to the very end there were no gimmicks, no tricks, no nonsense, nobody trying to sell me rustproofing, undercoating, alarms or anything else I didn't want or need. All of the numbers added up and there was no pressure to use their financing. Overall a very pleasant surprise after many lowball, bait and switch and other scams attempted on me over the years at other dealerships. I have walked out of many dealerships over the years after I was lied to, and had come to expect it every time i needed to buy a vehicle for myself or my business. I must say these people seem to have a different way of doing business. In conclusion I am sorry if this sounds like a commercial but I feel strongly about this dealership and expect to be shopping there in the fixture. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends. Try them out I think you will be happily surprised.

Easilest sales experience in a dealership!

The great reviews I found on google for this dealership did not disappoint. My salesperson John Decandia was professional, courteous, and very knowledgable about the vehicles he sells. Everyone we encountered at this dealer was friendly but John really exceeded my expectations. He was straight forward, didn't bs me around like the every other dealer i've been in. He gets the job done, is very well organized, and gets what you want without all the hassle. I highly recommend John Decandia when you visit this dealership.

Jeff Freeman is an excellent sales rep!

Easy, no pressure experience in leasing a new Jeep Cherokee. Jeff is a very helpful and knowledgeable salesperson. He took the time to explain all of the options available. This was a car buying experience the way it should be.

Oil changes

Purchased a certified pre owned 2010 liberty from laureen very pleasant to deal with. This car has had many problems all which have been fixed. the mechanics who change oil need to be trained in how to tighten oil filters, I have gone for 5 oil changes and 4 times I had to retighten the filter as oil was leaking out. I use this vehicle on long trips, loosing oil would cause engine to malfunction if not caught in time. The service advisers I deal with are pleasant Lisa B. And Kenny. The one time oil filter did not have to be tightened it was written on the work report of my complaint.

Review of my Experience at Westbury Dodge and Jeff

This is the first vehicle I have ever purchased at a dealership. Jeff was my salesperson. He was kind, professional and knowledgeable. The vehicle was not detailed properly at pickup time and I found some stuff since I picked the car up, but I got an IOU on the missing items and detailing and I am satisfied. I have already recommended the dealership and Jeff to some of my co workers.

BUYER BEWARE: Westbury Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge = NIGHTMARE

**UPDATED June 3 + June 7 2014, see **** line below ... It's 2014, so I thought car dealerships learned their lesson and, um, stopped lying and stopped gouging. Not so. My wife and I went to Westbury jeep to look at a Chrysler 300.Saturday 5/31. After like 6 sales reps fawning over our 2 little dogs for 15 minutes, we waited for them to say 'can we help you,' (which they didn't), so I asked them, 'can anyone help us.', and they say sure and they offer us a sales rep who looked like a deer caught in the headlights (some investigative work later unveiled he was there for 2 months and still didn't know the ropes). Anyway, we have to do the obligatory 'sit down and let's take down some information' and every 30 seconds the sales rep puts his pen down and leans back (stopping/slowing down the entire process) and says crap like "I'm going to buy a Chrysler 300 myself, it's better than my Mercedes." Finally we go out to the parking lot to test drive the stripped edition of the 300 and my wife sees a black-on-black Chrylser 300 S with black wheels and she says "I want THAT car". So I ask the sales rep, "do you have that EXACT car" (The one my wife pointed out was there for service" and he says "yes, after we go for the test drive I will take you to that one.". Then we go back to the lot and I say 'are you sure that Chrysler 300 S is here, on this lot" and he says "yes", so we get out of the test model and I say "where is it?" and he says, 'oh, it's not HERE, I said it's on ONE of our lots.' And I said, "ok, you just lied to me and said it was right here, and he said 'No, you misunderstood me, I said it's on one of our lots', so I say 'fair enough'. We go inside so he can 'look on the computer to see where the car is' and he says 'we have this in stock' and I say 'where is it', and he says, 'well, it's not here yet. It's on its way from Canada. I said 'ok when will it be PHYSICALLY here' and he says 'well it goes through delaware and new jersey' and finally gives us a date, he says "June 7, but June 5 if we rush order it". That was bait-and-switch #1 above. Here's bait-and-switch #2. So we say, ok, we want to lease that same make/model with the option shown. He says 'how much do you want to put down?" and I say 'I'll put down the closest amount to 'zero'." and he says "Ok, it is going to be $3,000 out the door and $589 a month. WHOAH, this is a middle-optioned V6 Chrysler 300 S, not an Audi A6. So I said 'again, I need you to get the closest you can to zero' and thus he immediately drops his offer to $1,000 out the door and $489. Monthly still too high, he wouldn't budge (in the middle we had a wrangling with a sales manager who was stubborn as well). All in all we spent THREE HOURS there. Here's the shocking part: We went over to Town and Country Chrysler in levittown. I'l be adding my review in the near future (we pick up our Chrysler 300 later today) and if everything goes as planned, we saved over $100 on the monthly lease. DO NOT GO To Westbury Jeep, the reviews here are probably fake because if you look at the reviews on yelp (unbiased and hard to post a fake review), most reviewers have the same feeling. ***Updated June 3 2013: Our transaction at Town and Country Levittown (for the Chrysler 300 S) went unbelievably smooth and with zero pain, and we'll save over $3900 over the course of the 3 year lease (vs. Westbury Jeep's poisonous, ridiculous offer). ***Updated June 7 2014: Westbury Chrysler Jeep has done nothing to remedy or address their lousy performance, SO when I completed my glowing corporate Chrysler survey for Town and Country Chrysler, I was sure to address to Chrysler's senior management (answering their direct questions about Westbury Chrysler Jeep) my horrific experience at Westbury Chrysler/Jeep. My experience is a textbook study why many car dealerships lose customers forever. Now my reviews are permanently on Yelp and DealerRater.com
