I recently had a very frustrating experience with this

I recently had a very frustrating experience with this dealership. After choosing a car, I asked for their price. The salesperson Alan jokingly said they could only take $100 off. Since they didn’t provide a fair quote, I offered $2,000 off MSRP myself. They agreed and required non-refundable deposit. There is one point needs to be mentioned. They did not inform us in advance of the deposit amount to be charged. It is entirely reasonable for a deposit to be $500 or even $1000, provided that both parties reach an agreement in advance. however, in this case, the process was highly improper. the salesman taking the card, processing $1000, and only informing us afterward. SO When they returned the receipt to us, I noticed the $1000 deposit and hesitated for a moment, but since i thought we would go through with the purchase anyway, i didn't mind paying extra $500 deposit that day. This dealership is precisely taking advantage of this kind of mindset from buyers. Most other dealers only ask $500 or less, so $1,000 non-refundable feels deliberately designed to trap customers. Later, after doing some research and visiting another Toyota dealer, I found out that the same car was being discounted thousands without any issues. SO Losing $1000 feels less frustrating than realizing this dealer took advantage of my trust and market ignorance. Yes, I take responsibility for not checking the market first, but a professional and transparent dealership should provide competitive, market-based pricing upfront instead of taking advantage of customers who don’t know the typical discounts. It now feels like that $1,000 deposit was designed to “lock me in” and discourage me from leaving once I discovered fairer deals elsewhere. This kind of practice shows a lack of transparency and fairness. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from this dealership – do your research first and compare prices at multiple locations. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealer. Over the past week, I visited their dealership twice and filled out the form they need. Both front desk and sales man Alan promised the manager would call me. Naturally, the manager never did. I Suppose handing issues is not really his strong suit....

My salesperson, Luis, took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and helped me get my dream car. What stood out most was his honesty and transparency. He answered all my questions, explained every detail clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way on buying my first car. I truly felt valued as a customer. I highly recommend Penn Toyota to anyone looking for a great car buying experience. I absolutely LOVE my dream car and I will definitely be coming back for future purchases! Ever since the loss of Joni Glantz Penn Toyota is not the same, she was old school. Even though the vehicle was certified as silver no a/c, unprepared. Joni was Professional, tough and fair. Drove 250 miles to look at a used 4 runner .and no one gave a blank about my inconvenience

It was a pleasure to purchase a high-demand vehicle from Penn Toyota. This Rav 4 Prime Plug-in Hybrid is an asesome car! The owner, Mr. Penn, visited with us while we were working with our salesman, Luis. When Mr. Penn learned that we are a military Navy family, we were honored to hear about his time in Vietnam while he also served in the US Navy. Mr. Penn is an honorable patriot. Luis treated us like family and took care of every detail. We were not rushed and treated so kindly the entire visit. We wish they were closer, but if we are ever in the market for another vehicle, it would be worth the trip to come back again. If you're in the market for a vehicle, you will be in good hands with Penn Toyota

Even though you are over four hours away from where I live and three states away, I would definitely come back again to Penn Toyota to purchase another vehicle! Your service is impeccable, your attention to detail and the overall great experience I had with your dealership was fantastic. Luis, my, salesman, was wonderful, kind and considerate.
