Kenny, the manager, declined to sell me an EV, explaining that delivery after 09/30/25 would disqualify the vehicle from the federal tax credit. According to Internal Revenue Code § 30D (New Clean Vehicle Credit) and IRS guidance, eligibility is based on when a written binding contract is signed and a payment is made. If that occurs by Sept. 30, 2025, the purchaser can still claim the credit when the car is placed in service — EVEN IF DELIVERY HAPPENS LATER. Kenny also stated that “cars in transit don’t have VINs.” However, the dealership’s own website shows in-transit cars listed with VINs, color, and option details. Cars in transit and allocations can be sold under a binding contract because a VIN of assigned. In a shocking and rather comical moment, Kenny even read aloud a Honda corporate email that, in my view, clearly supported the IRS position — that “the contract must be signed by 09/30 to qualify”. It highlighted Kenny’s misunderstanding between “contract signing” and “delivery,” which are legally distinct. I found this episode embarrassing to witness. In my opinion, clearer training for sales staff would help ensure customers receive accurate information and that the dealership doesn’t lose sales opportunities tied to EV tax credits. I purchased a car from hillside Honda from Muhammad and
I purchased a car from hillside Honda from Muhammad and Danny they gave me price for 30,000k and later they modified the price and gave me for 35000k . Full of deceiving in pricing by the time it’s adding to taxes it was 39000k. Very manipulative behavior. Don’t trust them.

I always heard the saying to never trust car salesmen,
I always heard the saying to never trust car salesmen, but I would have never thought I would actually fall victim to these types of scam artists. I was lied to about so many things. Worst experience ever. I will say that Ashley Verdun however was amazing and very forthcoming. Ray Zaman on the other hand, lied about when my payments would actually start. Then after speaking with the lienholder and finding out that my payments will actually start in a month and not "two months" like Ray had stated, I then reached out back to him to find out why I was lied to. Ray's response was "actually you have 10 days grace period after your due date and with weekends included that is approximately 2 months". So deceitful! Mohammed Chowdhury lied about me actually NEEDING to have all the extra service coverages such as " Honda Care and Multi Shield Protection' (an extra $4,000 added to my loan) in order to be approved of the loan. They took advantage of my vulnerability and desperation to purchase a new vehicle. NEVER AGAIN!

I took my car for a recall replacement part .
I took my car for a recall replacement part . They didn’t provide transportation for me to go back home or return to the dealer to pick up the car . I had to pay out of pocket for cab fares. I spoke with service manager at Hillside regarding this . He instructed me to call Honda customer service . Honda customer service representative (Jessica) told me it’s not Honda’s responsibility to pay for this even though it’s a recall service. She told me I should have made arrangements to get a ride from someone ! I am very disappointed with Honda customer service I must say .
