I bought GLS 450 2018 in 2021 from Major World Dealer

I bought GLS 450 2018 in 2021 from Major World Dealer located at along Island City. There were some issued and accidents report about this vehicle which have not shown me until I signed the paper.i had a big arguments with them by that time, finally they told me that wait for another vehicle when we get it then u can exchange this one to another one. It’s 2025 now but that never happened. Anyways, I been there two or 3 three years ago for some maintenance. They keep fixing the vehicle and keep robbing me. I used to go there again and again. In May, 2025 I was told that hey your vehicle need another engine and transmission change which may be cost me around $10k. In a mean while I took it somewhere else and I started oil change and small things by them, without changing engine and transmission my vehicle is running very smooth and it’s not bothering me at all. What i figured out!!!! It was major world experts and its low quality engine oil. Because back in Feb or Jan 2025 I got engine light which wasn’t something serious the light used to come when I used have gas from unbranded gas stations when I get from Mobil or BP Gas stations. The light used to go away by itself. One day unfortunately, I was at major world for oil change the light came up. The expert said oh I wil check it out for you and the manager wil tell you that’s what’s going on, after his checking the engine checked light stayed there permanently and engine is so noisy when I start it and the power used to be normal now it has long starting issue as well. Which is 1000% major world experts/mechanic mistake. After that i traveled to another state my vehicle was acting so weird I took to a local mechanic on my way and the expert just checked it randomly, right away he asked me are you mechanic I said no he said have you took your vehicle to any other mechanic recently I said yea. He said go wow he hasn’t screwed some parts in the vehicle engine and they are loss that’s why you felt weird and felt that your vehicle is gonna be break in peices. Then i stopped going their and now a days I just do oil changed but they use a real Mobi1 oil in my vehicle not their own made one like major world use. And I have no issue in my vehicle engine. It’s run very smooth even since May I have not spend a single extra penny on it, before every month their used to be something break in it and I would have spent money at majoroworld service department. I never complained to them. Because the manager over there is extremely extremely nice and cool guy. He’s alway very professional and well behaved with everyone as far as I saw him while I’m there. It’s all Majorworld mechanics and its own cheap policy to use their own cheap low quality oil which mess up the car’s engine. They should have stop using low quality oil. And they should have warn their experts to report a real issues in the cars and do not play tiger customers cars. Even one time I have left my car for about two weeks and when I got it back two back tires changed in it. It was replaced to old tires but how can someone proof this? But I future it out my two front tires were still new and back was flared I was so shocked when I saw that. I have spent around $12k-$20k at major world service department only at this vehicle which I bought broken from them. My complaint will be still their about this vehicle if they keep the record or May be my review at this dealerrster website They are responsible to recover my $12k-$20k they can check total at their accounting record to get the real figure. Anyways, I don’t recommend this dealership they play around a lot. I’m so sorry for such a long review but I hope it can save someone from robbing or May be make them be smart and careful while buying or doing maintenance at this dealership service department. From the start, the experience was frustrating.

From the start, the experience was frustrating. The salesperson assigned to us had absolutely no knowledge about the car we had seen online, and instead of providing useful information or guidance, we were left waiting inside for answers. Eventually, we were introduced to someone who was apparently a "big manager"-- speaking very fast with a heavy accent who immediately began acting overly familiar and overly friendly, as if he had known us for years. Frankly, it came across as sleazy and disingenuous. His approach felt like a clear attempt to manipulate rather than assist. It was all surface-level charm without any real substance, and anyone with a bit of common sense could see right through it. It felt like we were being played, not helped. We came in as serious buyers, ready to make a deal. Instead, we left feeling like we were treated as easy targets rather than valued customers. It's incredibly disappointing when the people meant to help you only make the experience worse. Major World, you need to do better. Train your staff to be knowledgeable, respectful, and honest.

I made an offer on an auto I wanted? The dealership refused to make a COUNTER OFFER! Of all the industries a car dealership was insulted? I’ve been insulted in every Automobile Dealership sine 1970. Please if your thin skinned get out of the business. 300 days with a car on your lot. One would think you’ll like yo move it and admit your mistake that keeps you from being decent. I still want that auto.

DO NOT BUY HERE!

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! Total SCAM dealership. DON’T PURCHASE HERE!!!! Just search "Scam" in their reviews!!! 100’s of cars on the lot that they buy through auction and most have lots of problems. We bought a 2015 car back in January 2024 which was good for about 3 months, (conveniently after the 60 day lemon law passed) then the problems started! 1st the car started to stall when you came to a stop. We took it to our mechanic multiple times and changed out some part to no avail. Then a bit later, as it still stalled when came to a stop, the car started to SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING!!!! Total and complete safety issue there, I looked into the lemon laws and even called a lawyer to see if it was worth calling Major World about our issues, again to no avail and was told that there was not much we could do. So, After putting in another $3000 in parts and taking it to our mechanic at least 10 times to try and rectify the problems we decided to trade it in on a new car. When we went to the new car dealer he showed us a 2nd “carfax” that Major World conveniently, only gave us a top page of that stated “major structural damage”. The full and original CarFax that they gave us only stated “minor” front end damage. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE They are total scam artists!! Oh, I forgot to even mention that they have so many cars on their lot that when we went to pick up the car in January we sat in the dealership for over 3 hours because they DIDN’T KNOW WHERE THE CAR WE WERE BUYING EVEN WAS!!! We had to go look for it on the lot ourselves!! I should have walked out right there, but they conveniently took our full payment within 10 minutes of us being there to pick it up!! SCAM ALL AROUND!!!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!

Bait and switch.

Bait and switch. Setup an appointment to take delivery of online price. I was driving from 3 hours away and they knew it. Came with cash and my scrap trade. They try to upsell. I offer full asking price from online. I have the cash in hand ready to go. They say they can't find the title... No problem I'll do the deal now in cash and you can mail me the title later. Nope they want me to come back in a week. I offer to put down deposit, they won't accept. Now they want me to apply for finance so they can upsell. While I'm sitting in the finance office, they change the price on their website add 4k to it. Edmunds.com still shows the original price. Car is beat in every way with no back seats, bald tires, Huge hole in lower front grill, oil stained interior. It's a wholesale car with a wholesale price I was willing to buy but... Now they want 15k for it? These jokers refused to sell the car to me for full asking price for cash. Don't waste your time and money. Based on my experience and other reviews they blow hot air to get you in the door and then leave you in the cold... Trip cost me $200 in travel expenses, they couldn't care it's not their time and cash. Shameful practices I experienced. I just hope this review helps you out their words were worthless to me. Looks like I dodged a bullet.

Avoid this dealer and their pushy salesman Victor!! I didnt have a good experience there and do not recommend them at all!! They will tell you one thing and 10 minutes later retract. They tell you they don’t have any hidden fees and that’s a LIE! As I was walking out I heard a salesman tell his customer “please give me a good review and I can actually write it for you.” Look for better vehicles at a better dealer!

Scandalous

Went back on their agreement. Would not return calls or text in timely fashion . Scandalous business practices. Hugo and Ismail . Bait and switch on purchase of vehicle.
