BAIT AND SWITCH!
BAIT AND SWITCH!!!! I visited CarLux! Stay away! They show you an internet price and when you get there they mark up the vehicle nearly 8k. The car was advertised at 24k and was told by the manager that the car will be listed at 33k tomorrow. And proceeded to try and sell me the vehicle 8k more than it was listed at 33k! BAIT AND SWITCH! They pressure you to finance so they can build relations with the bank! Not to mention all the vehicles were filthy! SCAMMERS

We drove over to see a yellow Jeep that they advertised
We drove over to see a yellow Jeep that they advertised as a cash deal for $ 18618 by the time we sat down to make the cash deal the guy wanted $ 29000. It's still on Autotrader for that $18618. so not trustworthy.

Update... I was forced to write that review before leaving the dealership. The guy followed me to the horrible car I was scammed to buy ( it is infested with cockroaches). And made me write that review before I left the lot! Obviously they know what they are doing!! And why they are doing that!!! I bet that all the great reviews are made up reviews or they put them up themselves! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP at all costs, I will add the whole story in another review. Worst experience ever. They keep saying ( WE DIDN'T FORCE YOU TO BUY) , they exhaust you for hours running around acting like they are doing stuff. They took advantage of me being a woman by myself with my two kids, to wrap the deal in 10 minutes after exhausting us for 4 hours. They told me they don't check credit score. First thing they did was checking my credit score!!! I should've known it was a scam. And every time you call they hang up the phone.

Scam is the best way to describe this business. Internet prices are just a bait to get customers to their store. Cars are not taken care of, dirty inside, scratched, and sale reps have no clue about they are selling. Dealers fees are about $5000 and they do not apply all the rebates and discounts advertised on the internet. Just save your time and stay away from lux cars

I saw an ad on both cargurus and carfax.
I saw an ad on both cargurus and carfax. It looked like a great car, they had just gotten it and were offering it at 10.5K. I decided to try to get it, and went to Carlux ftl. First off the price displayed is not the price. It includes a "trade in" (not mentioned in the ad)... Like seriously? I need to give you a car for me to get the advertised price? And this was on both carfax and cargurus. Bottom line, is if you want to buy a car there from an ad you see, expect to pay at least 3K more in dealer fees, doc fees, recondition fees, and fee fees. Its kind of ridiculous. So the out the door price was going to be around 15-16K for that car. Then they said.. Oh we just got the car and work needs to be done to it so we need to increase the price on top of that. Soooo... you got the car, and you post it with the price but its not the price because you havent looked at it yet and need to fix a bunch of stuff. I even offered to take it as is, at the advertised price with the tradein (hidden fee thing) and they just started spinning more silliness. Drove 30 min to get there so it was a waste of time. I prefer dealers whos prices match the reason you get there. I literally threatened to sue for false advertising. but they said.. Well if you try to purchase the car on cargurus then you will see the full price. So i tried it after I had left. And in order to get the actual price, you need to enter your social security number and a bunch of other stuff. NO MY FRIENDS THE PRICE IS NOT RIGHT THERE. Anyway, if you want to waste your time not getting what they advertise, go there. If you are happy to pay at LEAST $3000 in fees and other xx, go there. Then of course they tried to sell me another car that wasnt even an SUV i was looking for. We call that BAIT AND SWITCH. I will say they were very nice. So there is that.

sure you can offer the price of the car in your ads without a hidden trade in plus another $3000 plus in additional fees. Maybe people would be able to take you guys seriously. This place is for those who cant afford a car so they give you what appears to be a really low price with a really long term loan and jack up the price and finance you if you have bad credit. Preditory loans is what we call those. I guess there is a market for that and because your victims dont realize the 10k car is really 16k they dont mind because its just a monthly payment they will make forever.

My husband and I drove over an hour to meet with someone about that vehicle and when we got there we were notified by the general manager that it had sold the weekend prior. There is also nowhere to park in the back as it is stacked with purchase vehicles on its lot. Steven Rogers 6 reviews Buyer Beware!!!! Thieves and liars. I bought a car with a third party extended warranty company. After one year, I sold the car and requested a refund for the unused portion of the warranty. The warranty company sent my refund ($1712.27) to the selling dealer (CarLux) to verify the well of the car then forward me the check. They stole my money. At first they insisted they never received a check. Then later changed their story assuring me the check was in the mail. It has been 2 months past and now answering my calls. I feel like I gave CarLux every opportunity to do the right thing. Now while waiting for small claims court, I will spend my energy warning others they may prey on.
