Purchased a 2022 camry hybrid in August of 2025.
Purchased a 2022 camry hybrid in August of 2025. Planet has been unwilling or unable to forward the title, register it and pay the sales tax. Vehicle is fully paid, including registration fees and sales tax. The 2nd set of temp tags has just expired (60 days total) and Planet claims it will take another 2 - 3 weeks to complete the transaction. Have been getting the run around since August. If I have to park the car or get a ticket, I will hold them responsible. Truly deplorable customer service as well as a violation of DMV regulations. I'm about to escalate my complaint to the NJ DMV and Attorney General. In effect Planet has defrauded me out of more than $20,000. Not happy to say the least

Some of their methods are standard with other dealers.
Some of their methods are standard with other dealers. Like they make it sound like you have to pay fees for Nitrogen and Key insurance. They’ll claim the car is going to auction, so they don’t care if you buy it. What sets them apart from other dealers is; A deal that I struck one day was not honored the next day. Wait more than a few days, and they may ad a $1250 loyalty fee for not buying a car there in the last year. They won’t make the 4 tires match by brand, although it’s required for honda certification. But later on, they’ll do it. If a dealership can be bi-polar, then that’s what Planet honda is. I’m not an emotional buyer. But, I couldn’t give this dealership my business. And in reality, I wasn’t confident that the deal we struck, on the most recent email, was what would be honored, when i went in to pay for the car.

Planet Honda has always been very concerned about service to my vehicles. I bought my first Honda vehicle in 1997, and I have always been very pleased with the service, and my service representatives. As a matter of fact, I was thinking of perhaps purchasing another vehicle, and when I mentioned it to my daughter, she suggested that I buy the make she has. I then told her if and when I was going to purchase another vehicle, I would stay with Honda because of the service that is given to me since 1997.
