Drove 1hr to see a vehicle I was interested in.

Drove 1hr to see a vehicle I was interested in. Unfortunately since I went after work it was a bit late. I explained my situation and they told me they would get back to me on Monday about the vehicle that I saw and liked. They ran my credit for nothing just to tell me that the vehicle had already been sold! They were also very insistant on running my partners credit as well to supposedly hold the vehicle for me instead of selling it to the other person. I'm glad we did not give into that lie! I found the same vehicle with less miles at a different dealership the next week and was able to get everything I wanted and the full honest explanation as far as financing and different options! They also did not need nor insist on running my partners credit! I wish they would have been honest with me at Palatine Volkswagen about the vehicle being on hold to be sold the next day instead of running my credit for nothing! I now have a hard inquiry on my credit for a vehicle that was sold and I did not even purchase! Just a waste of my time and gas!

I saw an ad for a 1992 Camaro.

I saw an ad for a 1992 Camaro. No price listed, just “please call”. Of course that’s just another way to say we’re gonna F you on this car. But I called and was told I needed to talk to the mgr. no one ever called me back. Poor follow up habits are the #1 downfall of sales persons.

Así da miedo comprar

Iba a comprar una Equinox y en su oficina me dieron un valor. Les dejé un down Payment conseguí el cheque por el saldo y después dijeron que el carro tenía un problema mecánico. Yo creo que lo que querían era subirle el precio. Está claro eso. Por último el vendedor ni contestaba el teléfono. Su mánager no sabe lo que es servicio al cliente. Que pena!! Les falta seriedad
