We bought a used car from Nuo for $12,500 with $1000

We bought a used car from Nuo for $12,500 with $1000 down. When we finally got a copy of paperwork we saw the price listed was $14,100 . The gap coverage was twice what he quoted and he will not return calls or take care of the discrepancy. Dont trust these people as far as you can throw them!

Walked in to look at a used 10 y.

Walked in to look at a used 10 y.o. non-subaru car on their lot. After the test drive, I asked for a total price. They quoted me almost an extra $2000 in added fees. Protective coating for $999?? On a used car? Are you freaking kidding me? $400 detailing fee? What kind of dealer passes the cleaning cost into the customer? Imagine if I tried to sell a car then charged the buyer a cleaning fee. Here, you owe me 4.99 for the bottle of windex. Ridiculous.

Won’t finance cars over 10 years old even though they

Won’t finance cars over 10 years old even though they have several cars on their lot over that age. If you’re interested in an older car like I was for my daughter’s first car, you better have a wad of available cash to purchase it because the finance manager just doesn’t want to do any extra work trying to get an older car financed. You are just a number to these clowns that have zero stake in their community. Avoid this dealership at all costs!

I was at the dealership, mid-july to test drive Soltera

I was at the dealership, mid-july to test drive Soltera and have the $50 visa test drive certificate redeemed. Met Ryan, sales person. He is highly incompetent and unprofessional. He has no idea how to get the test drive cert redeemed. Standard answer: "I have sent it upstairs to the office. They will handle. I do not know anything about it. I just work here." Cert is still unredeemed.

Interested in a car listed at $29,500 on cars.

Interested in a car listed at $29,500 on cars.com. Upon receiving an offer from the dealership, they had the price listed as $30,899, then added a "required" $1399 paint/interior protection package and a "required" $3000 extended warranty. We were told these options were not able to be removed, which means the prices of the car was actually $5k+ more than what was listed. Shady business practices, do not engage with this dealership.

Last night my wife and I went in to buy a green 2023

Last night my wife and I went in to buy a green 2023 Forester with 23 miles on it from this dealership. Neither my wife or I liked the color, and we found used cars in colors we preferred, we always buy new and would have preferred this car due to it being new. This should have been the easiest sale in the world for this dealership because my wife is a lifelong Subaru person. While I personally am not a huge Subaru fan, I was there to make sure that she did not get hustled by the dealership. When we brought in her mint condition 2015 Subaru Outback with new tires and a two day old repair to the oxygen sensors, they quoted us a trade in value of $7k. When I told the sales person that this was a low ball (KBB had this car at a minimum of $8500), the sales person took offense and asked snidely if we wanted to buy this car or not. He then said that we obviously did not want this car and that all I did was complain about their vehicles. At this point I asked for the manager and the sales person got irate and went to his manager (a Russian guy by the name of Mike) who basically told us that because we were complaining about the color of the car that I was somehow rude. No voices were raised on our part. My wife was extremely disappointed because she was ready to purchase (despite being told that there was $1k limit on a credit card - most dealerships allow $3k) the new car. When I told Mike that I was going to write about our poor experience here, he said, "I wish that I could write about you" and waved at us in a shoo fashion to leave. Completely unprofessional behavior. Neither of these people should be employed by Subaru and it is clear that they cannot even sell a car to their most loyal customer. Thankfully, we went to Lafontaine Subaru later that night and they sold my wife a 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness with a 7 year/100k warranty. They stayed with us until 11pm to make sure that we were satisfied and had all the paperwork completed. IF you want to buy a Subaru, do not go to Troy, go to LaFontaine in Commerce/Novi. This Troy dealership does not treat customers right.
