Terrible Service Dept Staff
I have been going here since March of this year and I have not had a positive experience with their service center. I have been to Toyota dealers in several states along with several locations in Michigan and usually they have 5 star service, but not this one. The Service Managers act like you are brother them when you approach. Often they try to upsell you service that you do not need when you come in for a simple oil change. This past weekend my engine light came on. I called this morning to make the appointment and I let the person scheduling the appointment know that I had found a bulletin from Toyota that described this problem and what I believe was the cause. I asked if there was an email I could send it to and the person transferred me to a Service Manager (male). When he answered the call and I asked if there was an email I could send this too. He told me to not brother because it could be one of a million things and that was probably not it. I said I realize that but I wanted to provide it. He said I could print it off and bring it with me. I explained that I did not have a printer at home and I would like to email it to someone. He said there wasn't a point to it. He was very condescending, which shouldn't surprise me as every time I have gone there this is the attitude of the service staff. I then called another dealer and made an appointment there same day. They listened, took the email, let me know it could be something else. Two hours later they called me to let me know I was correct and it was the issue related to the bulletin. This Service Manager could of just gave me a general email address and noted it on the appointment. .It wasn't that difficult of an ask. I will never go back to the Troy location again this includes when I buy my next Toyota as I only drive Toyotas and have for the past 7 years.

Peggy Beattie was very patient with me as I looked at multiple vehicles. Thanks Peggy! My experience at Suburban Toyota of Troy (STT) was great EXCEPT they would NOT work with my credit union (Dort Federal) on financing. Instead, I got stuck with Wells Fargo and their terrible, 4.89%, interest rate. My car cost $23,500, my credit score is 775 and I put $10,000 down. That interest rate is a sham. I’ll be refinancing with my credit union at 1.99%. :)

Love the service at Suburban Toyota. I have been taking my former car there for the past 7 years and just purchased a new Rav4 from them. Lazer helped me every step of the way and kept me updated on when my car was estimated to come in. Lazer was phenomenal with my constant asking if my car came in yet. Darius was great as well and made the paperwork process so quick and easy.

Big lie
Went in there today to look at a Jeep that was certified. The vehicle had a broken tail light license plate holder dent in the corner where the tail light was front caliper sticking and this was certified how can this be certified and have a broken tail light and nowhere to put your license plate. Was told the Jeep just came in today that's why it was damaged like it was and not fixed on the listing it's been there for a week.
