I had a fantastic experience purchasing my Lexus Rx 330

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my Lexus Rx 330 (2006) in 2021 from VCD Car dealership which was very comfortable and reliable exceeded my expectation untilled when I Sold it June 2024. I recently bought Toyota Sienna (2024) from VCD Car Dealership again. Maurice Mbata was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the entire process seamless. The Toyota Sienna (2014) has been a game -changer for my family. It is spacious, interior, comfor, and reliable have made my family road trips a breeze. I am planning to get another car for my little brother. VCD car dealership (Maurice M) was transparent with the pricing, went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. If you are in the market for a high-quality used vehicle, I franklin Agbor Tambe highly recommend VCD Car Dealership. You won't be disappointed.

Disappointed with Service and Communication at VCD Auto

Disappointed with Service and Communication at VCD Auto Group I recently purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited from VCD Auto Group and was initially impressed by the professionalism of the salesman, Maurice Mbata. However, my experience went downhill after the sale. Unfulfilled Promises: Maurice promised the car would be detailed before purchase, but due to rain, it wasn't. While his staff may have vacuumed the newly purchased vehicle, it was still dirty. (Maurice gave me weather tech-like matts as a good will act). Unexpected Repairs: The vehicle failed its West Virginia inspection shortly after. However, I acknowledge I signed a disclaimer about out-of-state inspections. Repairs were needed for tires, wipers, and other, more serious, issues. While Maurice did reimburse me some for these repairs ($260), it was only a fraction and an unexpected cost incurred. Even a non-certified used vehicle should at least pass basic inspection after purchase. Communication Issues: The biggest problem arose when I needed paperwork for my permanent West Virginia registration. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and a text message, I received no response from VCD Auto Group for days as the temporary registration was nearing expiration. Unprofessional Resolution: It wasn't until I contacted the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board that Maurice finally returned my call. He claimed to have sent the paperwork via certified mail, but the Post Office couldn't get a signature and held it. He could have notified me of that event since he had a tracking number. He dismissively suggested I complain to the board and didn’t care, and then hung up on me. This left me scrambling to retrieve the certified mail document hours before it was scheduled to be returned to VCD Auto Group by the Post Office. Overall Experience: While I ultimately obtained my registration and the car passed inspection, the process was unnecessarily stressful. A customer shouldn't have to deal with such a lack of communication and professionalism. Recommendation: I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider other dealerships where customer service remains a priority throughout the entire buying process.

FRAUD - Maurice

Maurice is a fraud trying to sell me a car with clean title, carfax showed salvaged. This is a terrible dealer. Then I checked their google reviews and saw that they cover check engine lights, and they try to conceal rusted undercarriages

Great buying experience!

I don't usually go through the trouble of writing reviews but I felt compelled this time because I wanted to mention how nice and accommodating the sales agent was. Favor made sure I got everything I needed and I left with a great buying experience! Thank you!

A Happy Customer

I bought a Volkswagen Cc from here.. Mr. Maurice was my salesman. He was very attentive to my wants and needs. Getting ready to buy another car for my son in college, will definitely be getting it from here!

Fraud

I bought a car just to find out that the dealership covered up the check engine light with a piece of paper. That’s called fraudulent concealment.

Amazing honest employees

Was really skeptical going in with bad history with another dealership. Dealt with Kelly Truss. She was extremely helpful and thorough with explaining everything and helping get the right vehicle for my needs. Will definitely be referring people there, and going there again for future purchases!
