easy transaction
I found a Ford F250 that had the options I was looking for on cars.com that Blasius of Middletown had in stock. Contacted Edwin (salesman) to confirm truck was still there and set up an appointment. The truck was detailed and ready to go when I arrived after a 3 hour drive to the dealership. I liked the truck, so I made the purchase. We negotiated a little on my trade and came to a deal we could both agree to. Overall had a smooth transaction.

Stay far far away.
Stay far far away. We have no idea how this place stays open. Purchased a car from them last year. Got it home to find it leaking all over driveway. Bought it back 2 days later and they said “not their problem”. Could not get a manager to call you back. Took it to Toyota to find out the when Blasius replaced something they put a hole, yes a hole, in the transmission. Needed a whole new transmission! Imagine on our 2 day old car! We spent $25k on the car so it’s not like it was a clunker. Called, emailed and wrote a letter to owner with no response. Wouldn’t take our calls. Terrible customer service and not standing by their sale. We feel they knew they sold us a damaged vehicle. Now, a year later more problems stemming from the original issue. Never, never buy a car from them!!!!!! We can’t stress it enough.

I purchased a vehicle for over $20,000 only to have it
I purchased a vehicle for over $20,000 only to have it stop working in a month. The 60 day warranty and even the extended warranty is a joke. The sales specialist I purchased from told me to bring it to the nearest Kia dealership for a diagnostic test and that they would take care of the problem since it was even still within the 60 days. Only to find out that the service wasn’t covered in the “warranty” and then no one could return my phone calls. I spoke with the secretary and the general sales manager literally told me that I need to talk to the sales specialist instead. Very unprofessional and rude, AVOID YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO ELSEWHERE!

Thank you for your feedback, Shar. We regret that there was an issue with your vehicle and that you were not happy with the warranty. In the interest of causing you as little inconvenience as possible, we had recommended bringing the vehicle to your nearest Kia dealership so that you would not have to make the trip back to us. The repair was indeed covered, but there was a $100 deductible with warranty, which we reimbursed you for, leaving you with no out of pocket expense. We are hopeful that this has satisfied your concerns but please let us know if there are any outstanding issues.
Beware
We were very happy with this dealership until we got our car home in the driveway. We were told that they did a full inspection on our car before they sold it to us. If they truly did a full inspection - they would have noticed the oil leak that we noticed immediately when we pulled in our driveway. It is besides the point that we bought a warranty on the car - Blasius should have taken care of this! We feel like they did not do a full inspection and because of this cannot give them a good review. I understand fully that these cars are sold as it - but leaking the same day you buy it should be covered by them! So for that reason alone I cannot recommed this dealership, They should stand by their cars. Now it is up to us to be inconvenienced and money out of our pocket to get this issue fixed.

They stand behind their products & services!
After spotting a GMC Terrain on website that was at Blasius of Middletown, I emailed Dave to schedule a test drive. Dave handed me the keys and told me to drive it and we would discuss when I returned. There were a few noises that I mentioned to Dave which he passed on to Adam the GM. All in all I like the car and made a deposit to purchase. Francisco had all of the paperwork completed a few days later. This is where things went a little sideways. 3 days after taking ownership of the car the noise I had originally heard during the test drive in the front driver side wheel well was back. Adam arranged for the car to be picked up and brought to the dealership to be looked at and a loaner provided to me. Diagnosed as a bent axle and frozen brake caliper pins, both axles were replaced, Caliper pins were fixed and everything that could be greased was and I was back on the road. Memorial Day Weekend was a hot one, I turned on the A/C and was met with cool air and then HOT air. Adam and I discussed, diagnosis: A/C compressor needed to be replaced. Back on the road with A/C! Fast forward to the end of June. The noise in the front wheel well was back. Adam and I discussed again. I went to the dealership for service the Thursday before the 4th of July and as luck would have it, the Director of Operations for Blasius, Tyson, was on site. Tyson and I were introduced and had a lengthy discussion about the vehicle. Tyson arranged for the GMC Certified Tech in the Waterbury location to go over the vehicle bumper to bumper. I brought the vehicle to the Waterbury location on 7/19 for Dan to inspect. On Wednesday Tyson and Adam phone to tell me what the verdict was. I was told that after discussions with Dan, Tyson, Adam and MR. BLASIUS and other executives it was decided that they would be taking the car back because they didn't feel that this car was 1) safe in its current condition; 2) any repairs made now would only lead to more issues down the road. That same day I was back at the Middletown location. They had another GMC Terrain, this one was a 2017, It had about 10K more miles, a step up on the trim package. They asked me to drive it and if I didn't like it they would hunt down what I did want. They "loaned" it to me to test drive overnight. I have to say with this was a vehicle that had been taken care of, it was practically brand new. Best of all, no noises were heard! There were a couple of small issues. It was in need of an alignment and the tires were worn. Tyson authorized new tires and an alignment. Through all of this, Adam, Dave, Francisco, Carlos, office staff, Tyson, Dan and the Waterbury crew, Mr. Blasius and the executives have gone above and beyond. It has been my experience at other dealerships to be told, that can happen with used vehicles and get a shoulder shrug. This was not the case. Everyone has listened to me when I told them what was going on. Carlos has driven with me when there were issues. Some have said "Well you wont' buy another vehicle from them!" My answer was "Yes I will and here's why." I then proceed to tell them the above story. So while I was going through the above story I was less than thrilled, in the end Blasius stood behind their mission statement. It isn't just words on a website. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, stop in and ask for Dave or Adam in Middletown. You will be treated well and fairly.

The best car buying experience “ever”
I can not say enough about my experience. I always had an aversion to buying cars, due to the high pressure sales tactics. In the past, i would have family members deal with the experience and i would show up and just do the paperwork. I am please to say- this has been the most pleasurable car buying experience. Thank you Dave and Francisco (and all the other staff) for such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Blasius in Middletown.
