I really appreciate being worked in when I didn’t have an appointment. I had a light out in my brakes. They fixed it for me and did an inspection of my car and found out that I had other things that were wrong with my vehicle. They went ahead and fixed everything. Thank you so much!

Our 24K mile Kia Niro EV stopped providing cold AC, so I
Our 24K mile Kia Niro EV stopped providing cold AC, so I scheduled an appointment to have my college age daughter take it in and have fixed, assuming our 100K warranty was good. Appointment was scheduled a month in advance so when she showed up at 7:30am on 6/27/24, after waiting 8 hours, they told her "Our EV guy is not here, you will have to come back tomorrow. Today, she is there at 7:30am. They diagnosed that the noise the AC is making requires a new blower. Mike said it was low on refrigerant, "but we can't find a leak, so it is going to cost you $700 for the refrigerant that we put in the unit. If you don't pay the $700, we will discharge the refrigerant that we put in." I told my daughter that $700 for refrigerant is too much and it should be under warranty so my daughter told them that I want you to perform whatever warranty service you are willing to provide. Their response "We are going to remove the refrigerant and It's going to blow hot air" So they removed all of the refrigerant from the system, even the refrigerant that was in the car when it arrived and the system won't blow any air, hot or cold. This morning when she took the car in, at least it would blow air, now it doesn't even blow. I regret buying a Kia and I regret scheduling an appointment with Doug Smith Kia.

We bought a brand new car at Doug Smith Kia. We have had a great experience through the entire process. Super helpful, easy to talk to, and the do what they say they are going to do. We have never had such a great experience with a dealership!

Poor customer service after sale
I bought a brand new Kia EV6 here for $63,000. Customer service after the sale was terrible. This began immediately after we signed the papers. Our salesman was too busy to even walk us to our new car. There was no walk through of the features like we have gotten at other dealerships with new car purchases. Two months later, when we reached out in need of some help with our new car, Doug Smith Kia failed us again due to a "company policy". When I asked for a copy of the "company policy" in writing, they were unable to produce it. I will never give Doug Smith my business again and if you are smart, you won't either.

Zach Darc at Doug Smith Kia is the best.
Zach Darc was the first and last person I spoke with at Doug Smith. He gave me everything I asked for. He explained the intricate electronic system of my new car and followed up after. He made the entire experience very positive.

DO NOT BRING YOU CAR HERE!
Brought a kia in becasue the engine seized and it should be under warranty. However, they told me They could not check the engine unless I gave them $300 for a battery first. I told them I would bring them one. I did. They then tell me the new battery I bought is not good enough. I needed to buy only theirs. I told them no. both batterys I had worked fine. They could have put a wrench on the engine and could tell it was seized and no magical battery from them would help that. They had my car over 2 months and never even looked at it. AND THEY KEEP THE BATTERY I BOUGHT (COULD NOT FIND IT). WHAT A JOKE!!!

Honest and transparent. No hidden fees or markups.
This is a great dealership. They are super honest and transparent. We didn't experience any high-pressure tactics and during the purchase there were no added fees or dishonest markups (which many dealerships are doing like crazy right now with the ongoing vehicle shortages). We drove an hour to buy from them because the same could not be said for our local dealership. This was the most pleasant experience that I have ever had with any car dealership ever! I would purchase from them again without hesitation.

My vehicle was picked up, new tires, and their awesome service dude Luis made arrangements for UBER to bring me back to my car when it was ready! Their team took care of my car and my stress with comfort ♥️
