Salesman Bob Nichols was top notch in his integrity and professionalism as he helped us purchase a used 2024 RAV4 hybrid. He was accommodating every step of the way from allowing us to put a deposit down and take almost a week to return to purchase and pickup the vehicle, to answering every question we had with patience and kindness! My wife and I really appreciated how he was personable and how he made a potentially nerve racking experience an easier one!

Deceptive Practices, Buyer Beware!
Their website states that they only sell at msrp but that's not entirely true. When interested in buying a car I asked the salesman a few questions and was satisfied with his answers, he stated the sales price was the msrp and there were no additional add ons or extra charges so I put the deposit down with him and he said he would call me the next day. The next day he called me and said that the owner would only sell at 3000 above msrp because he wanted service business and I was out of state so they wouldn't sell me to at the price they said they would. Extremely deceptive website where they pick and choose who to sell people the cars at certain prices. I almost would have been more satisfied if they told me up front we are charging markup instead of giving me a false sense of hope.

2021 Ford Ranger
This was the most pleasant truck buying experiences I have ever had. Torrington Ford treated me like an individual instead of treating me like a number . Russ introduced himself and paid attention from beginning to end. I can say nothing but great things for him and the rest of people i met at Torrington Ford. Their future with him as one of their salesman should be promising. The paperwork went smoothly and he was able to answer any questions I had. Russ's knowledge was well on display. I would recommend this dealership to anyone considering buying a new vehicle. I look forward to returning and getting my vehicle serviced from them as well.

Tom was incredibly helpful. He worked with my schedule, worked with my warranty company and got the repair done on time. I have been getting my repair work done at Torrington Ford for twenty years and will continue to do so.

wouldn't recommend
Traveled 9 hrs to get a vehicle. Was very dirty and unprepped. Very unprofessional. Tried to sneak in extra registration fees (they corrected once called out). Only reason they got 2 stars is because they did the negotiating over the phone and a lot of places wont do that, but being 9 hrs away I had no choice. Had issue w/ vehicle and their service basically said "i dont know" and refused to do anything about it. Went to a ford dealer because I had higher expectations. If I wanted this kind of service I would have went to bobs used car sales 10 miles down the road and got something.

Bad experience.
Went there 01/16/21 to look for a vehicle. Blond female saleswoman who never introduced herself was argumentative, disrespectful claiming she drove a F-250. Drove from Danbury Ct to check out vehicles there but never again. Loyal ford owner currently own two F-150s. Escape. Boss 302

Awful service. Awful place.
These guys are awful. I had them replace my exhaust manifolds on my F150, and they did a bunch of secondary damage in the process. They denied all of it and quoted me an additional 3000 to fix all the issues they created plus one unrelated problem they tried to repair and failed. They had no interest in negotiating anything until I informed them I was taking the vehicle back. Suddenly, they wanted to wheel and deal and talk salvaged and OEM parts to get the cost down. I took it back to my mechanic, and I had to force him to take 400 bucks, because he felt guilty having to send me the dealer route, to drop in a salvaged compressor motor that they (Ford) broke, which lead to it seizing. And he went item by item to verify not everything needed replacement. Most of it just needed a wrench. I've never seen anything like it. I picked Torrington because it was the closest dealer to me. The best part of the whole episode was the mechanic denying my description of how the damage occurred because he doesn't even "repair it that way." "That way" being the recommended/standard procedure from Ford. There's about a dozen Ford trucks parked behind the firehouses where I work. Three of them have Torrington Ford horror stories. My fault for not asking my bros first. Pick any other dealership. Save yourself.

Introduced to the Torrington Ford Lincoln team through a family friend who had a positive buying experience. The team at TFL was FAST. Reached out via phone at 6pm on a Friday, had quotes early AM Saturday and had the purchase in motion before noon on that same Saturday. The team was knowledgeable and very well rounded. They listened carefully to the preferences I desired, presented the various options and were efficient. The sales executives, CFO and CEO were all involved during the process, and the well rounded culture of the group was impressive and made the experience all the more comfortable. As a buyer its important to see the various parties to get a feel for the credibility of the dealership/point of contact and the TFL team was excellent in that regard. I'd recommend the group to anyone interested in a Ford/Lincoln model, even if they are outside of the natural territory (location). I came from central Massachusetts to purchase a vehicle, and I plan to do it again because the experience was that superb.
